Cassandra wake up with a thud in her head, she wasn't a good drinker and she barely make three bottles of a 450 ml beer last night and yet her body feel so heated like she'd been baked for some time. So much for alchohol, next time she's gonna put some warning device to remind her not to drink nor to hold any alcoholic beverages or maybe even to stay a good six feet away from it. She really hate hangovers.

But then again, she can't do nothing about it right now so instead she lazily stood up, just trying to move her sored muscle but as soon s her gaze automatically diverts to her digital clock checking for time, all the hangover effects packed up and run away from her system leaving her in her frantic mood to hurry up because its hella 7:30 am and work is at eight! Common she'll obviously be fuck*n' late!

She guess she work miracles, she showered for ten minutes, dress afterwards then launch herself out of her own room and was taking the stairs two at a time, she even thought that she should have installed an elevator herself--wishing ofcourse. She have no money for it whatosever and she's not even hella rich not to mention also that the house was not that huge either.

So much for fancy thinking and back to reality, here she is, driving faster than usual and oh ofcourse that feeling of yours when you are in a hurry and traffic is meddling in? Yeah, it sucks and its annoying but aside from dripping her fingers in the wheel and curse under her breath, she knew she have no control over things. All she could do is to master patience, wishing there is really a virtue on it. Tsk. Traffic, she have no control over it. Just like her own life is right now or has always been. After some sight of happiness tragedy always come in. How so convenient? This so called fate is irritating her and if he or she is a person she deadly swear she will bombardize her. Haist. She shake off the thought. Why do people easily find things and events to compare? Like everything was connected? And besides Traffic was not even a living thing to start with! Goodness.

She must be crazy with all this weird thoughts in her head. Definetely she need a scan or a shrink because she feel so ampalaya [1] right now. Was this just hangover madness or Jeremy madness?

She just shrug and finally drop off the thought as the traffic finally cleared in. She needed to be in the office, now.

. . . . . . .

"Coffee." A black coffee landed on her table, the aroma smells so nice and a bit wakening as it filled her senses. Cassandra automatically look up to her giver and saw her bestfriend Ariel grinning at her.

"thanks." She muttered and took the cup and sip it. Its black and ofcourse bitter. Again. Why is she so fidgeted with the word?

"how's the hangover?" He asked curiously breaking her trance and had caught her staring at nothing.

Not good.

Cassandra smiled for awhile, for a bestfriend, Ariel is definetely hard to be lied at especially when he knows everypart of her, well almost actually. "As per usual. .it sucks. .you on the other hand didn't even warn me nor refrain me from taking shots, again." She said accusing him but he just shot her a yeah-right-as-if-you'll-listen look and a playful smirk again. "your such a friend." She just added and took another sip of her coffee.

He just chuckle at her comment finding it very amusing on his part while Cassandra find it irritating but before she could comment a delivery boy came in bringing her a meal. Actually, a breakfast from a fast food restaurant. The smell of food make her stomach jump and her mouth watery, she haven't realized she was famished until the food came in.

"Figures you haven't eaten anything yet." Ariel explained as the delivery boy went off making her grinned for a moment thinking, Well atleast, his really a friend. A good friend, who wouldn't like him if he is this thoughtful?
