The Beach

Y/N POV

Allison and I were screaming along to some of our favorite songs. We parked at the beach and got out of the car and walked over to the boys. We made our way onto the beach and set everything up. I took off the dress that was covering up my bathing suit and instantly feel eyes on me. I quickly cover my stomach with me arms and turn around to see clay looking at me.

"Hey. No need to cover up. Your beautiful, and whatever Marcus has told you is wrong. He's an idiot. He's a dick" clay says putting his hands on my shoulder causing more butterflies.

"Yeah. Thanks clay" I say with a weak smile

"LETS GET OUR SWIM ONNN!!" I hear Allison yell

"I'll race ya" nick says to allison

"Oh your hey mamas man"

They take off running to the water with George, me, and clay walking close behind them.

We get to the water to see Allison and nick already splashing each other. Once we get further in a splash clay and dunk him under the water

"Ohh your so dead" he says with his Weeze laugh making me laugh too

Soon we are all splashing each other and nick dunks me under then clay pushes him laughing. A few hours pass of joking around, splashing each other and playing volleyball.

"Woooooo!! Suck it loser!!. Girls rule!!" Allison yells after we won the game of volleyball

"YESSS ALLI" I yell giving her a high five

"Oh shut up we went easy on you guys" George says rolling his eyes

" oh going easy is diving for ball and still missing it. That's just called sucking ass at volleyball" Allison says sarcastically

"Whatever" he says

About 30 minutes later the sun started to set.
I was laying on my towel when I heard someone walk up to me

"Hello my darling Debra" clay says "wanna go for a walk?"

open my eyes and look up to him

"Why of course my beloved prince Franklin"

He helps me up and tells the others where we are going and we walk away.

"So. Did you have a good day?" He asks

"I actually had a really great day." I said smiling

"You say that like you thought today was going to be bad" he say playfully pushing

I giggle and say "thank you clay"

"Don't thank me, y/n." He says making eye contact with me

" hey.. uh there's something I've been meaning to tell you" clays says looking down and taking my hands in his

-oh my god. It's bad news isn't it. Fuck what did I do. Chill y/n it can't be anything bad. Maybe it's actually really good. Oh my god what he confesses his feelings for me. No way. He only sees me as a friend..right..?-

"Uh yeah go ahead" I say

"So.uh I know we haven't known each other that long. But we've been hanging out a lot. And I feel really happy around you y/n and I always want to keep you safe" he says before pausing for a few seconds
"What I'm trying to is-" he stutters "the truth is y/n-"

He says but he's cut off by George

"Y/N, CLAY COME ON WE'RE LEAVING!" He yells

"Oh um never mind I guess, it can wait"
He says looking away and letting go of my hands reluctantly

"Yeah Um.. ok let's go"

We walked back in awkward silence and packed everything up. Once we were done me and Allison got in my car and the boys got into clays car.

"So what did you and clay talk about on your little sun set walk on the beach"

"Nothing really." I said look at road "he was trying to tell me something but George just had to call back over"

"What do you think he going to say?" She asks but before I can respond she says "I but he was gonna tell you how much he loOoves you" emphasis on the love

"Come on Allison. He just sees me as a friend Okay"

"Do you really believe that? Because I know you see him more than that" she says softly

"Okay. Maybe I do" I say hesitantly

"HAHA. I KNEW IT!" She yelled

"Oh shut up and get out of my car" I say as a joke while parking in front of the parking lot

I showered and went to bed. As soon as my head hit the pillow, I was out.
