"Um

"Um...I...Uhh." I racked my brain on what to say. Damn him and his shirtless body. "Can we talk?"

"We already spoke last night, you didn't want to hear me out," He stated.

"I know and I'm sorry, I came here to apologize for how I acted last night, and I wanted to see if we can try to talk again?" I said twiddling my thumbs and biting my lips. I saw his eyes flicker to them for a second before he looked back up and spoke.

"Come in," He said while holding the door open for me to enter.

"Thank you," I said my voice barely above a whisper. I looked around the place I once called home and almost cried. Everything looked the same, nothing had changed.

I walked over to the room where my arts and crafts used to be, I turned to Ronan and saw him watching my every move.

"May I?" I asked.

"Go ahead," He said.

I opened the door and saw that the room was still the same way I left it. Tears quickly came running and I hastily wiped them away not wanting Ronan to see me cry. I turned to him and froze, not expecting him to be standing directly behind me.

"You kept it?" I asked.

"Yea, along with everything else, all your clothes are upstairs in the bedroom closet, I moved them to the second room though,"

I was shocked. He kept everything. That day when I came home I didn't pack a lot of clothes. I only packed a small amount and left everything else. I grabbed all my documents and a carry-on and left as soon as I could.

The house has three bedrooms, two upstairs and the smaller one on this floor, that now was the arts and crafts room.

I wanted to ask him why he kept everything but I decided not to. I closed the door and walked pass him towards the living room area. I sat down on one of the couches.

"Ronan I...I'm sorry. You were right, I didn't give you a chance, I didn't hear you out or stood by your side, and for that I'm so sorry. If you still want to tell me your side and anything else, I'll listen,"

It took him a minute before he started talking. He ran his fingers through his hair before he began.

"That day in my office, Stephanie came in. At the time, I didn't know that was her name. I was confused because my schedule was cleared for the day, I didn't have anymore client meetings. I couldn't ask Eric because he had left to go get his lunch," He paused before continuing.

"I asked her if she had an appointment and she just ignored me and walked around the desk towards me. She kept running her hands down my arms and saying how she could do things for me that my fiancé couldn't. I kept telling her to leave and pushing her off. I paged the security desk but nobody picked up. From the moment she came into the room, she kept glancing at the door like she was expecting someone to come in," He paused again running his fingers through his hair.
