After a quick marriage, Catherine gave birth to a daughter called Missy...And two boys: Charles and Gordon, (all under 3).
But, by 1880, the marriage was over.
"Yer drinkin' is 'arming the children...And me! I'll be takin' the children. And, once the Court of England grants me sole custody, you'll be on the streets...As usual...An' no 'ouse to live in...Nothin'" Thomas said, as he threw his wife outside for the last time.
