"There's not wax on, wax off with drifting." Han explains when they arrive at the mountain. "Learn by doin' it."

"The first drifters invented drifting out here in the mountains by feeling it." Kanami carries on with the explanation.

"So feel it!" The couple pats Sean's back.

Sean spent hours.

Days.

Entire days.

On learning how to drift.

"Again!"

He tried and failed.

Tried again.

Failed more.

But he never gave up.

"Again!"

"Baby, aren't you being too harsh with the kid?" Kanami chuckles, seating on his lap.

"I was worse with you K." he looks at her.

"Yeah...but that was because I was racing DK. He isn't."

Han pecks her lips. "Exactly."

"Again."

More weeks came by.

And Sean still failed.

But still.

He kept trying.

He had some lessons with Han and/or Kanami at the drivers seat.

"Watch it. Watch it."

"Not too early, now."

"Go, go, go, go!"

"Not bad." The fishermen comment.

"Don't lose it! Don't lose it!"

Han and Kanami couldn't help but smirk. It's like when a baby starts to walk by himself.

"Now you're able to race me!" Kanami, seated once more on her boyfriend's lap, informs Sean, clapping hands.

"That sounds nice!" He smiles to their friends.

Han smirks, looking at his girl. "Be ready to lose, Sean. "

A few nights later, Sean shows up with a bag at Han's garage.

"Hey Han...Take a look at this...You have a visitor." the lady Kanami sent away loong weeks ago speaks, in her native language, brazilian.

"Hey Twink. Get this man a bunk."

The next day, Han and Sean raced.

And Sean behaved very very well!

"That's it Sean!!"

He prepared himself so well that he won the race against Morimoto.

"That's it! Show him how it's done!" Kanami shouts, from Han's embrace.

Sean gets to the top in first place and spins his car.

"I wonder where he learned that." Kanami crosses her arms, looking at Han.

"I have no idea." Han shrugs, hugging her tight.

Morimoto gets there a few seconds later, screaming and slapping his car. He lost.

Everybody gathers around Sean's car to congratulate him and cheer him up. He won.

DK gets up, looking angry and walks to the pretty couple admiring their friend's first win.

DK then gives his '86 Corolla keys to Han, without saying a thing.

"Pleasure doing business."

"Some two are going to have fun in a car..." Kanami suggests, staring at her boyfriend.

"Hmm...they might." He pecks her lips and Kanami smiles.

They walk closer to Sean to also congratulate him.

Kanami hugs him. "So that's how a momma bird feels like when their babies learn to fly huh?"

Sean laughs. "Thank you."

Kanami nods.

"I showed the mountain to Sean." Neela confesses.

"You what?!" Kanami shouts over the phone.

"And I told him a little about my past too..."

"Wow Nee..." Kanami sighs. "And how are you?"

"I don't know...I really don't..." Neela sighs too. "I'll call you later, 'kay K?"

"Sure. Bye..Nee." Kanami ends the call.
