Others guessed that it was Ji Qingqing because there was a rumor circulating in Tianyu Entertainment that President Lu held a bouquet containing 99 roses and gave it to Ji Qingqing. However, only a few believed the rumor due to Ji Qingqing's infamous reputation. Many believed that their intelligent and dignified President Lu would not choose a woman with such a notorious reputation.

Until later on, while delivering Lu Lixing’s lunch to his office, his assistant accidentally saw an unfamiliar girl in the video call.  Although she was ordinary looking, the girl loved to smile a lot. This finally concluded all the blind hunches they’ve made previously.

Who the woman was became unimportant. The emphasis here was that the woman wasn’t pretty, but she had a merit- that is she loved to smile!

From that, one can conclude that President Lu doesn’t like pretty women, but instead, he liked women who loved to smile.

There were even absurd rumors, saying President Lu once saw an employee’s smile in the lift and directly promoted him by three levels.

For a while, the entire Lu corporation was filled with bright smiles, and the working atmosphere among employees was instantly boosted.

“President Lu, you have a meeting in five minutes. Everyone has arrived.”

Lu Lixing closed the file that he had in front of him. Picking up his phone, he walked towards the conference room. As Chen Jing followed behind him, she could clearly see what was on his phone screen. It was a filming site.

This continued for almost a month already. They are still video calling?

Lu Lixing had Bluetooth earbuds on. As he listened to the meeting, he glanced at the phone screen occasionally with his gaze slightly paused.

The scene that Ji Qingqing was about to film today was important; it will be her last scene.

The female supporting character who eventually became the antagonist subsequently went through a love-hate relationship and battle of wits and courage with the male lead.  And in the scene, she ends up taking a knife for the male lead and dies in his arms.

The dark red blood on her chest flows out and stains the grass. Before her last breath, Ji Qingqing let out the words she wanted to say to the male lead that she had repressed in her heart for so long. Her blood-stained hands paused in mid-air, wanting to touch the male lead's nose. But alas, slumped down lifelessly.

Jiang Su looked at the lifeless woman in his arms. He remembered the once innocent and pure-hearted woman and he remembered her vicious schemes. It was he who changed her with his own hands and it was also he that led her to her death with his own hands.

Maybe it was regret, sympathy, or perhaps sadness, but these various emotions all eventually dissolved into an emotional kiss, putting an end to their affinity in this lifetime.
