"fun fact. my favorite crystal is jade" i said as corpse and i walked around the small shop. he followed me closely

"that's cool. maybe i should get a jade necklace just because of that"

"stop making me want to kiss you" i said

"nothing wrong with a friendly kiss" he spoke clearly joking

i picked out the crystals i wanted one by one while corpse kept making jokes and looking at the necklaces with crystals on them.

we decided to get matching jade necklaces which i forced him to let me pay for. he was not happy about it

"42.86 please" i handed the girl working my card and looked at corpse who was clearly mad that he didn't get to pay

what a weirdo.

we exited the shop and got back into his car. his hand came to my thigh within seconds causing me to look at him

"where is my necklace princess?" he said a few inches from my face. i paused in my tracks taking him in

i quickly pulls out out necklaces and handed him his before opening mine. they were sliver chains with a small piece of jade hanging off of them

we put them on each other before looking at each other with smiles on our face

"let go to the beach now"

we were both shoeless walking down the shore holding our shoes and each other's hands.

it was in the 70s today so it was nice out. water splashed onto my feet as we walked

"thank you for letting me stay with you"

"you can always stay with me corpse"

"thank you baby" he lifted my hand up and kissed my hand

corpse stood a foot taller than me. i was extremely short while he was tall.

we both had to strain our necks when looking at each other. he smiled down at me as i stared out into the water

it was only 2 pm but i was tired for no reason. i hadn't had a lot of physical human contact in awhile so i was tired.

"you okay?" corpse said breaking me out of my thoughts

"i'm okay. just thinking"

"okay" we fell into a comfortable silence again as we kept walking towards the pier

as we inched closer to the wooden area, corpse let go of my hand to move his hair out of his face.

he didn't pick my hand back up which worried me because normally he was very possessive and touchy even though we were just close friends

i didn't say anything though
