"i'm here!" i yelled out as i walked into grace and luna's house
"in the kitchen!"
i walked into the kitchen to find the two blondes sitting on the counter. i set their coffees infront of them
"happy birthday lunes" i said
"thank ya babe"
i smiled and sat on the other counter. grace gave me a look and i gave a confused look back
"something is wrong with you" she said
"it's nothing" i smiled to hide the confusion i felt from the words that came out of corpse's mouth 40 minutes before
"even i don't believe you" luna said. i sighed and looked down at my coffee
"corpse said he loved me and quickly hung up almost as if he was embarrassed"
"HE SAID WHAT?" grace yelled
"yeah. like we said it all the time as friends. and i do love him. i mean i have liked him for months and was starting to fall in love more when he asked me out. it's just weird"
"tell him you love him if you do" luna said
"but i don't want to move so quickly. i don't this so be another grayson situation"
"agreed" grace said
grayson was my ex and grace's brother. he was a great guy but we moved so quick into everything that it ended up pulling us apart in the end of it all.
it hurt me for a long time and then i met corpse and developed feelings for him
i just didn't want to be hurt again
"wait till you see him again. text him now saying you want to talk about it in person. maybe say the feeling is mutual without saying it straight on" luna suggested
"i will later. for now let's celebrate your birthday" i said hoping off the counter
"okay whatever" luna said
we all left her house, me driving. i drove to our restaurant of choice. we got out of the car and headed into the restaurant.
we got our seats and sat down. i sat next to grace and luna by herself
