after lunch with the two girls we got ice cream then went back to their house for a movie
we sat down on the couch with snacks in hand turning on the notebook before deciding to answer corpse finally
astro okay, it will be a few hours
corpse that's okay
i sighed and put my phone down before focusing on the tv in front of me and the girls
they didn't notice my worry or nerves rising which i was thankful for. we watched the movie while snacking on the stuff we brought from the kitchen
after awhile my headache came back. i ignored it as much as i could.
after the movie ended i stood up as my headache got worse
"my headache is coming back so i'm going to head out before i turn into a bitch"
"aww okay. i hope you feel better" luna said
"thanks. i hope you have a good rest of your birthday"
with that i left her hour and got into my car. i rubbed my hands over my face before turning my car on and pulling out my phone
i went to corpse's contact before calling him. he answered on the second ring
"astro" he breathed out
"hi, i'm driving by the way" i warned him
"oh okay, umm" he started before stopping himself from talking
"can i say something?" i asked
"yeah, anything"
"i don't want to fight or anything so i'm going to just put it out there. you said it way to early on. i understand that you feel that way. even though i feel the same we need more time to feel out the whole relationship" i said
"i know and i'm sorry" he spoke "it was an instinct thing. i'm so used to saying it in a friendly way when we hang up"
"i know corpse. i'm not mad. i just want you to think about this. you just said in a friendly way so maybe the feeling of love you have is still platonic. that's how i think it is for me"
"i mean that makes sense. i haven't thought to much into it. i love you astro. i don't know if it friendly or romanticly but i do" he said causing me to sigh
"what do you want me to say?" i asked
"i want you to say how you feel. wether you tell me to go fuck myself or say you love me. i just need you to say something, anything"
"i love you corpse. i just don't know how i do"
"thank you" was all he said before we both fell silent
