Jo and Beth made their way downstairs.
Marmee and Hannah had their heads down reading a telegram.
The 2 sisters waited in anticipation.
Marmee looked up teary-eyed nodding, "They're coming home"
Jo and Beth ran over to hug their mother.
It has been years since the March matriarch has embraced all her children.
The thought that her girls would live their lives without reconciling with each other was a pain only a mother could suffer. She always dreamed that her girls would love and help each other all their lives.
