𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘀 𝗣𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗹 𝗩𝗦 𝗠𝗿 𝗞𝗵𝗮𝗱𝘂𝘀

Chapter 5

Manik furiously got up, making Nandini fall to the floor with a thud.

"Ow!"

"Leave!" Manik pointed to the door.

"But...the interview."

"Koi interview nahi ho raha hai. I wouldnt hire you if you were the last person on this planet!" Manik shouted.

"Haan toh fine...mujhe bhi koi shauk nahi hai aapke jaise hitler boss ke liye kaam karne ke liye. Dekh liya maine kaise aap apne employees ko treat karte hai...woh bechari ladki kaise rohte rohte yahan se gayi. Aiyappa hi jaane, aap Jeej aur Cabir Bhai se related kaise ho sakte ho!" Nandini retorted.

"Get....Out....NOW!" Manik repeated. Nandini huffed and stormed out. As she left she bumped into Raj.

"Oh...Raj uncle...woh main..." Nandini looked down not knowing what to say.  She looked behind  Raj and saw Abhi & Cabir standing there too. They also heard the yelling.

"Abhi...Nandini ko apne cabin mein le jao." Raj told him. Abhi & Cabir took Nandini and Raj entered the conference room to see a fuming Manik.

"How dare she? Uski himmat kaose hui mujhse aise baat karne ki?" Manik said. "Dad, sunna aapne?"

"Hmm...I did. Kaafi impressed hoon main." Raj smirked. Manik's mouth fell open.

"What?"

"Aaj se tumhara PA Nandini hi hogi." Raj announced.

"No way...Dad, Im not gonna hire her!" Manik shouted

"I'm hiring her!" Raj said. "Bhoolo mat main aaj bhi Malhotra Industries ka Chairman hoon."

"I know that Dad." Manik lowered his voice seeing how serious his Dad is. "Lekin Dad....she..she's crazy! Kal woh meri gadi ke upar char gayi...aaj mere god mein gir gayi...she will be a terrible PA."

"How do you know that? Interview toh liya hi nahi tune." Raj said.

"Woh toh aapne bhi nahi liya na, phir bhi you are hiring her. I know ki woh Mukti ki behen hai but-"

"No buts Manik....Nandini has good qualifications, aur woh ek achi ladki hai. I promised I would help her out so dont make me break my promise." Raj strictly said.

"Main uske liye kaam nahi karungi! Aise kaun baat karta hai? How rude!" Nandini vented to Abhi & Cabir. "Matlab yeh kisi bhi angle se aap dono ke bhai nahi lagte mujhe!"

"Babydoll..relax." Abhi tried to calm her down.

"Aisi kya burrai hai mujhme ke meri interview bhi nahi liya huh? All I did was fall in his lap...haan do baar lekin jaan bhuj ke thodi na ki thi maine." 

"WHAT!" Abhi & Cabir stood up in shock.

"Fell in his lap?" Abhi asked.

"Woh bhi do baar?" Cabir added.

"Uh..woh...kaha na galati se hua!" Nandini defended herself. Abhi & Cabir started laughing. "So mean yaar!"

"Sorry sorry sorry." Cabir apologized. "Par tum Manik ke god mein gir gayi...and your still alive to tell the tale? And then tum phirse uske god main gir gayi? Yeh kaise hua?"

"Not funny Cabir Bhai!" Nandini said. "Im telling you...main na uss...uss Khadus, Akru, Badtameez...karela jaise insaan ke liye kabhi kaam nahi kaungi!"

"Karela?" Abhi asked.

"Haan, Karela karwi hoti hai na? Toh aapke bhai bhi waisa hi hai...Karwa Karela!" Nandini replied. Abhi & Cabir had to control their laughter but soon managed to calm down.
