Violet walks up the street, head down and her eyes puffy. She had been crying. She didn't know what to do. She was so lost and confused. The only sentence that kept repeating in her mind was:

*I have to see Alex.*

She had to get to him and tell him everything. He had to know what he did. She didn't regret what happened though. She loved every second of what had happened. But what about him? Did he love her like she loved him? Or did he just use her to comfort himself? Would he regret what he did? Or would he be there for her? Would he support her? How will their parents react? So many questions ran through her mind. But she knew that he didn't regret it either. That gives her a little hope.

She reaches his street and sees his mother walk in her direction. She stops. His mom notices her and walks towards her.

“Violet! Hello love, how are you?” She smiles.

“I'm fine Auntie. How are you?” She forces a smile.

“I'm good too, baby. Is everything alright? You look so down!”

*I wish it was Auntie.*

“Yeah Auntie, everything is alright! Going to work?”

“Yeah, I have to go tonight. I'll see you later, okay?” She gives Violet a hug and walks away, mumbling something about being late.

Violet sighs as she walks towards Alex's house. The sky was cloudy. It was dark and gloomy, just like how violet felt right now. It was going to rain. She had to get back home soon. After talking to Alex.

She sees his house and tears fill her eyes, she wanted to be in his arms. She wanted him to comfort her. She runs. She runs up the driveway but stops as she sees something.

There stood Alex with a girl in his arms. His ex. They share a quick hug and he smiles at her. They were talking about something and laughed. The girl kept caressing his cheek and he kept smiling at her. It wasn't real. She knew his smile wasn't real. But what happened next broke her. The girl pulled him into a kiss. That's it. She turns away and runs before she could see anything else.

Tears fill her eyes as she keeps running, her hand gripping the test strip in the pocket of her hoodie.

Alex sat on his bed, head in his hands. His ex had visited him. She clearly cheated on him with his friend. He was upset, broken. He loved her. He thought it would work. But no. It was the same as all of his past relationships. He hated it. But he still forgave her today and told that they could still be friends. He thought that everything was fine now. And when it was time for her to leave, she kept caressing his cheek, he did not like it. But he still smiled at her. A fake smile.

Then she did something unexpected. She pulled him in for a kiss. He immediately pushed her away, his eyes wide.

“What the heck Amelia!?” He yelled at her. Thank God his mom wasn't home.

“Alex, I still want you!” She whines, showing her puppy eyes. It always worked. But not this time. No. His heart already belonged to someone else.

“Absolutely the fuck not! I don't want you. I don't want you or your friendship. I take back what I said. I don't want to see you ever again. Now leave!”

He walked into the house and slammed the door shut.

What was that girl thinking?! She cheated on him! It doesn't mean that she can hit on him whenever she pleases! He rolls his eyes. He made sure that he will stay away from her. He wanted to. He lies on his back and stares at the wall.
