Seeing him again was far from coincidence.
Part of me actually thought he was following me.
Surely, that couldn't be right, though.
After all, what's so interesting about me?
I work for minimum wage, my school life isn't at all fascinating, and my home life is practically non existent!
What makes me so special?

The time was seven twelve in the evening.
I was getting ready for my shift while watching the news.
There had been a whole lot less crime lately, but in turn, a series of decapitated corpses.
Police suspect a serial killer while witnesses claim a hero!

"A vigilante, huh?
Just what this city needs." I mumbled, grabbing my wallet and keys.

I turned, locking the door behind me.
My apartment was over priced and beyond shitty, but hey!
It was home.

I walked down the street with street lights as my guide.
There was a bunch on rebatable bikes everywhere and I preferred them to cars.
Between the cardio and the impact of the environment which I got by using it, I was more than happy to cycle to work.
I arrived at the cafe around seven forty five when the dinner rush pretty much ended.
I couldn't help but wonder if I'd see Eddie again.

I waited outside in the alley beside the place.
I had sneaked a bottle of Vodka earlier, so I basically just sipped it up while scrolling on my phone.
All the internet could talk about was this supposed 'vigilante'.
Though an intriguing subject, I was more into let's plays then news reports.

"Ah!
Mark posted.
Thank god..." I mumbled, taking another swig of the Vodka.

I suppose I was too engaged in the video to hear the fire exit door open.
Within a starting moment, someone grabbed my wrist and yanked me across the alley.
I face planted into the wall across the way.
Thick red blood ran down my face from my nose.
I gasped a bit, groaning from the sheer pain.

"Wanna repeat what you said before, slut?" Boomed a voice.

He pressed my body up against the musky wall, gripping both of my wrists violently.

"J-Jim!
What the hell?!" I screamed.

The damn chef!
I knew he was a perverted jerk, but to do such a thing was low...even for him!

"Say it again."

"God damnit!
Let me go you fucking pervert!!" I exclaimed as he dug his nails into my skin.

I yelped in pain a bit as he did, trying to think of a way out.
I had to get out!

Eddie POV:

"I wonder if Y/N's workin' today." I said, walking alongside the road.

"Don't jinx it, Eddie.
We want them to like us, remember?"

"Yeah, yeah.
I'm only goin' back for you, though.
I was fine sis skipping town all together until you saw them!"

"Don't be so Modest.
We like them, Eddie.
From the first moment, I wanted them.
You want them too now, don't you?
After all, why else would you offer them flowers?"

I groaned.
He was right though..
I'd had feelings for people in the past, but...something felt differently with them.
It seemed as though I had finally gotten over Anne.
Which...is something I'd never thought I'd do.

We arrived at the cafe like before, expecting to see them at bar like before.
Strangely enough, they weren't.
Neither was...the chef.

"I have a bad feeling, Eddie."
