Author’s Note: Just so you know there is a little German in this part. Neither of us knows any German so if it is wrong I’m sorry. I just think that since Snow White was a German fairy tale Evie would understand German. The translations are at the end of the chapter.

    Evie wraps her arm around her husband as she walks back into Auradon College. It has been a few weeks since Doug spelled Dude to attack Carlos. Carlos is now feeling a lot better and got released from the hospital this morning. Evie was reviled to bring her husband home so they could spend time together.

    “Welcome home, pup! Everyone has missed you so much” Evie exclaims, showing off the little party her and their friends made for Carlos. Carlos smirks as he looks at all the streamers and decorations for the welcome home party.

    “Oh my gosh, I love this so much! Thanks, guys, I’m so glad to be back home” Carlos says and he looks around the room in awe. Mal smiles as she tosses up the wrapped-up present with dalmatian spots all over it in the air.

“We’re glad to have you home as well pup. It isn’t the same around here without you” Mal says as she walks over and hands the present to Carlos.

“Thanks. Yeah, I hated being in the hospital. It was so quiet when you guys weren’t around. I’m just so glad to be home” Carlos says as he and his wife walk over to the couch and sit down.

“I’m glad you’re home as well pup. Now open your present. I want to see what you got” Evie says and Carlos laughs as he opens his dalmatian-colored present. Carlos gasps with surprise as he sees what Mal got for him.

Evie lays on her stomach atop her lavish dormitory bed. She's sketching out an idea for her latest project. Mal is sitting beside her bestie, working on homework for one of her classes. The bluenette begins to space out as she thinks back to a few weeks ago.

Doug was sent to the isle a few days ago after his trial. Doug was convicted of a whole list of offenses, some of which Evie was shocked and didn’t even know if half of them were possible. Although she's glad that Doug has been sent away, she can’t help but still be mad at him for what he did to her precious husband.

He had tried to kill Carlos by using his and Evie’s very own dog. Carlos and Evie love Dude so much, why would someone like Doug do that to them? Evie didn’t understand why someone they thought was innocent and kind would do something so horrendous as stealing Fairy Godmother’s wand and using it to spell a dog to hurt its owner. Whatever made Doug want to do that didn’t matter. It has all been said and done and Evie wants to show Doug the pain she went through when her beloved husband was suffering in the hospital.

Evie looks up suddenly as she gets an idea. She sits up in her bed and runs over to the bookshelf. The bluenette scans the bookshelf searching for the one that she needs. Evie smirks as she finds the book tucked away on the bottom shelf.

The bluenette stands, opening the book. Perfect, her mother, the Evil Queen’s old spellbook. With this, Evie is going to make sure Doug feels the same pain she felt when she had heard that Carlos had been attacked, when she didn’t know if her husband was going to be okay. All the time she spent in the hospital waiting to hear from a doctor, watching her husband lying helpless and in pain while not being able to do anything. All these things hurt Evie deeply and now it was time for her to take her revenge.

“What are you doing, " Mal asks her sort-of sister. Evie sighs as she closes the old spell book and holds it to her chest. She gives Mal a wickedly evil smile.

“I think it’s time for me to get revenge on someone who has hurt Carlos and me deeply,” Evie says with an evil smirk, already coming up with hundreds of ideas on what she could possibly do to Doug.
