Your voice raises when you're mad,
I embraced your worst, and the bad,
I stayed by your side, when no else does,
I put your first, you put me last.

Sitting alone, gazing at the door,
A tear had fell, I looked down the floor,
The habit of breaking promises and making excuses,
The holding pattern, anxieties, and relapses.

Everything was a lie, a frozen heart,
I should've said no, from the start,
You took the best in me, to pour your cup,
You saw me dying, but you never stop.

The cruelty in its finest, the lies and the twists,
The anger, throwing bottles and locking of fists,
I suffered from the entire relationship,
I let you in, but you sank my ship.
