"Dezzy let's go to the store!" Destiny yelled while walking up the stairs.
"Mkay lemme get my shoes on." I said and put my fuzzy slides on.
I grabbed my wallet and phone then walked downstairs.
"My bad I'm coming I had to find my keys." Destiny said while coming down the stairs.
"It's coo, let's go." I said and we locked up the house and got in the car.
We drove down the street to the corner store and then parked outside.
I walked in the store behind Destiny then went to the chip aisle.
"Excuse me.." I said to this boy who was blocking the aisle.
He ignored me and his homeboy walked in the aisle.
"Excuse me!" I yelled and he turned around and looked at me.
"Can you move?" I asked while making a gesture with my hands.
He moved and let me grab my chips. I grabbed some hot Cheeto puffs, hot funyuns, and hot fries.
"Goddamn ole hungry ahh." The homeboy said while laughing. The other boy laughed too.
"Ya momma." I said and walked to the candy aisle.
I grabbed everything I needed then walked up to pay.
"Hey Jerry." I said to the store clerk.
"Hey Dezzy! How you been?" He asked while restocking the cigarettes.
"Good and you?" I asked and saw the boys from earlier come stand behind me.
"I've been good, is this all for today?" He asked and greeted the boys behind me.
"Yes it is." I said and opened my wallet.
He bagged my stuff and gave it to me. "You know you don't have to pay Deziree. He only says me and destinys names when he's serious.
"But I want to." I said and pulled out a 20.
"Deziree get out." he said and shook his head.
"Mcht." I said and grabbed my bag. "See you later Jerry.
I walked out the store and went to the car. Destiny was putting gas in the car so I just got in.
She got in and pulled out the parking lot. "Girl, NiNi got a party for us to go to tonight." She said while driving back home.
"Y'all know I don't like people." I said and threw my head back.
"You need to get out and do things Dezzy. I'm tired of you sitting in the house." She said and pulled up to the house.
"I'll pass on this one." I said while she parked the car.
"Youre going I don't care." Destiny said and we both got out the car.
