"I don't know.." I said and looked at DJ's picture on my wall.
"its gonna get better.." Minnie said and rubbed my back.
"what am I gonna tell my baby when they ask where they father is?" I asked and looked at Minnie.
"can I tell u something that literally nobody knows?" Minnie asked and looked at me seriously.
I gave her my full attention.
"so you know how I turned 16, three months ago?" Minnie asked me.

"when I was still 15 I was pregnant..but the dude I was pregnant by pretended to die and left the state." Minnie said.
"soo what happened to the baby.." I asked.
"I had a miscarriage." Minnie said and wiped the tear that fell.
"I'm so sorry..." I said and hugged her.
"if jayla finds out about this..she'll kill me.." Minnie said.
"I wont-" I was saying but jayla walked in.

I moved out the way and the bowl fell and broke.
I walked up to her and grabbed her by her neck.
"keep fucking playing with me Deziree." I said and tightened my grip.
"move nigga, I'm leaving." she said and tried to move my hand.
"MOVE ION WANNA BE HERE WITCHU NO MORE!" she said and kicked me.
I pulled her to the living room and pushed her on the couch.
She got up and punched me in my chest.
I grabbed her arms and pinned her against the wall.
"hit me again Deziree." I said and stared at her.
"just let me leave bro, I don't wanna be here." she said and looked away.
"nah you ain't leaving." I said and made her look at me.

"nah so shut the fuck up and go to sleep or something." I said and let go of her.
She pushed past me and walked upstairs.
"crybaby ass girl." I said and sat on the couch.
I rolled up a blunt and I looked at my phone because I got a call.
"draco come over I miss you." I heard Amya say through the phone.
