AZHAIPAAYAA AZHAIPAAYAA? : 5

The warm wet patch on her pillow being a testament to her tears, she sniffled hard and let the tears continue to fall down on her pillow. It had been an hour since her last text and she still hadn't bothered wiping her eyes. When her phone pinged with a text, she muttered "Ippo Enna kadha solla pora Nee enkitta".

Still lying on her side on the pillow, she turned her phone screen facing her so she could read the text. The first photo in her text was a tired Ashwin with baggy eyes and an over grown beard holding up a crumpled newspaper with the day's date printed on top. When she was looking at it, another image came through. It was Ashwin holding a white paper with the words "Sorry, Sivaangi from CS365" scribbled on it.

Sighing, she pulled her phone closer to text lying on her back.

All she heard was her room being knocked heavily until her mother stuck her head in her room, "Sivaangi, kelambaliya? Office leave ah? Evlo time unna elupanum? Your cab will be here in half hour. Enaku office ku late aagudhu". Sivaangi woke up with a jolt and wondered what happened before the events of the evening came rushing back to her. She wondered when she passed out. And more importantly, her stranger was Ashwin. "Ok, that is so weird. On so many levels" she muttered under her breath. When she looked at the time on the clock and realized she barely had half hour to get out the door, she jumped out of the bed telling herself not to ponder over it, at least not when she was running late.
