Yamcha : "We'll miss you man."
Gohan : "Show those androids what your made of!"
Trunks : "Hehe, I got it."
Trunks would go and hug his mom, Bulma would hug him back. Then Trunks decided that it was time to go.
Trunks : "Alright, bye guys!" He'd wave goodbye to the others.
Gohan : "Cya Trunks! We'll remember you!"
Yamcha : "Later man!"
Krillen : "See you later!"
Trunks would hop in his Time Machine, setting the coordinates to his timeline.
Trunks : "Hm?" He'd look over to see Vegeta, his father leaning against a tree looking at him.
Vegeta : "Goodbye, my idiot son." He'd throw a peace sign at Trunks.
Trunks : "Goodbye, father." He'd throw a peace sign back.
Then the Time Machine hatch closed, it's started to fly up, then within a blink of an eye it had vanished.

The Time Machine Traveled between timelines, on its way back to Trunks' timeline.
Trunks : "I finally have the power to defeat those androids!"
Suddenly, the Time Machine shook.
Trunks : "Huh? It's just some minor turbulence."
Then it shook even more.
Trunks : "Woah! Okay this is not normal."
Then the Time Machine started to go off course, turning left instead of staying straight.
Trunks : "Shit! Im going off course!"
Then the Time Machine popped out of nowhere, on a roof, in an unfamiliar setting.
