"Excuse me." Yuvaan said offended.

"I mean..so much only for breakfast. Isn't it too much? " Arvika said correcting herself.

"Everyone have their own preferences. Chachu (uncle) like south indian dishes, we like light breakfast and others prefer desi (traditional) breakfast. You both can also tell the cooks your preferences if you want." Akarsh explained them.

"I think we are good. I can eat anything, it just have to taste good." Isha replied.

"Hmm Bhai. Bhabhi is right."

Listening Arvika's words, Akarsh stilled for a moment. Then he just nodded.

"What will we prepare first?" Isha asked.

"I'll prepare batter for dosa, Isha you go and chop vegetables for sandwiches. Yuvaan will prepare chhole, and Arvika you go boil potatoes for fillings of dosa."

Isha had never in her entire life of 27 years, she had stepped into kitchen for cooking. She doesn't even know that from which side knife should be used.

After figuring out, she stared chopping.

"These tomatoes are so slippery."

"Oww. I can't see anything because of these tears. This damn onion.''

Tak. Tak. Tak. Tak.

"What are you doing Isha?" Hearing Isha's whining and that irritating tak-tak sound, Akarsh turned where Isha was chopping vegetables.

"I am only doing what you said to me." Isha replied cheekily.

"Heck! You don't even know how to chop vegetables, Isha." Akarsh's nose scrunched up seeing the shapes of the vegetables. "You just come and assist me."

"Okay."

"Arvika, give me the boiled potatoes." Akarsh said to Arvika.

"Arvika since you are free, you can knead the dough...Till then I'll prepare the chutney." Yuvaan asked her.

"Sure."

Arvika was never into cooking. She was always an ambitious girl and her parents always encouraged her, that's why she never for once tried cooking.

When they left her at the age of 16, she used to go to her neighbours for breakfast and dinner. Her neighbours were very friendly and kind hearted people.

For lunch she used to eat from canteen of her school. After 18, she hired a maid who cooked for her and her kids. She was also nanny of Ved and Vanshika when Arvika was busy in her studies in college. That nanny was a mother figure in her life.

She knows the basics of cooking but she never tried.

Therefore kneading a dough is very big task for her. She took the plate full of flour and mixed it with water.

"Ahh... it's so sticky."

"It is looking like a batter rather than a dough."

She had poured so much water due to which it was looking like a batter of flour. To correct it, she added more flour.

After preparing chutney and sambhar, Yuvaan turned towards Arvika to see her covered in paste of flour. To his horror, when she was going to add more flour into that paste, by mistake she knocked the plate and it fell down on the floor making it sticky.

"Wow!! You are such a great cook. I'm blessed to have your assistance madam." Arvika scowled as Yuvaan mocked her.

Isha giggled seeing them while Akarsh looked at them in his as usual cold face but his eyes were filled with amusement.
