It had been a month since the heart-wrenching breakup with Rafe, and the pain in my chest showed no signs of easing. The love I felt for him ran deep, and his absence left an empty space in my life that I couldn't seem to fill. The weight of my emotions was suffocating, and I found myself grappling with the inability to express my feelings i decided maybe i should try writing my feelings down
i start writing ;
"I still remember the look on your face
Lit through the darkness at 1:58
The words that you whispered for just us to know
You told me you loved me
I remember it all, you promised me you loved me"
Flashback to that night: It's late at night, and I'm getting ready to settle into bed, feeling the warmth of the soft sheets against my skin. Just as I'm about to close my eyes, Rafe enters the room, his presence instantly calming my restless thoughts. With a tender smile, he sits down beside me, his eyes shimmering with affection.
Rafe reaches out and takes my hand, intertwining his fingers with mine. The touch sends a comforting wave through me, and I look into his eyes, captivated by their deep, unwavering gaze. In this quiet moment, he starts speaking, his voice gentle and filled with love.
"Sweetheart, You are my everything, i love you so much. Your have changed me in ways I never thought possible."
His words wash over me like a soothing melody, and I can't help but let a smile dance across my lips. I squeeze his hand, silently encouraging him to continue.
"You see, my love for you if forever.. I promise you, with everything in me i will always protect you, and i will always love you" he stops speaking and kisses my forehead
I feel a rush of warmth in my chest, my heart swelling with gratitude for the man sitting beside me. The sincerity in Rafe's voice is undeniable, and it fills me with a sense of security, knowing that his love will endure.
"I want you to know, y/n, that you are my favourite person. Your smile lights up my world. I promise to be there for you always,and to hold you close when you need.You are the love of my life, and I am happy to have you."
Tears of happiness shimmer in my eyes as I lean in and softly kiss Rafe's cheek.
"Rafe, I promise to love you with everything in me, to stand by your side no matter what. You just mean so much to me. I dont think i could ever love anyone the way i love you."
We hold each other tightly. As we drift off to sleep, I am filled with happiness as he has promised to be with me.i love him so much

After a long-awaited vacation, filled with memories and adventures, I finally returned home, longing to be reunited with Rafe. Even though we had been texting daily, the absence of his physical presence had left me feeling empty. The anticipation of seeing him again heightened with every passing moment.
As I stepped out of the car on that rainy July ninth, I could feel the freshness of the raindrops on the pavement. I gathered my bags and looked around, my heart racing with excitement. And there he was, standing near the entrance, his face radiant with a mixture of relief and pure joy.
