19 : Spooky Season Is Officially A Go

It's officially October so it's time for decorated houses and everything in between.

I like October it's not my favorite, but it's not that bad.

Spooky season is officially a go.

Lucas, Xavier, and I were all standing outside at school.

They have this area where everyone just hangs out most of the time, so we come here most of the time.

We do this every morning it's sort of become a routine at this point. We've sort of reconnected with everyone and I think it's safe to say our friend group is staying this time.

"Oh my gosh," Desirée said running up to us breathing heavily, "Did you guys hear about Brooke?"

"No, what happened?" Lucas asked turning his attention towards her.

"Well, according to my sources, she got suspended."

"Brooke?" I laughed a little, "No way. She gets everything she wants I doubt she let them suspend her."

Brooke's dad pays for everything this school has to offer. I don't understand how someone let her get suspended.

"Apparently Brooke's parents got a divorce a couple of weeks ago and now Brooke stays with her mom."

"Oh wow," I said shocked. Who would've thought Brooke out of all people got suspended?

"Do you know what for?" Xavier asked going over to Desirée and throwing his arm around her shoulder.

I immediately started smiling I'm such a proud parent.

Lucas moved from where he was and walked behind me. "Don't even think about it," I said before he could do anything.

Of course, he ignored me and slung his arm over my shoulder. "You just don't listen do you?" I said sighing.

"You should know that by now." He said smiling down at me.

His eyes always had a way of hypnotizing me. You just lose your train of thought every time you look into them. Wait. I feel like I've said that before. I definitely have.

Desirée cleared her throat which snapped me out of the trance I was in. That's the only way to describe it. "Well, would you look at our lovebirds." She said smiling.

"Definitely not lovebirds," I said annoyed.

"Well I mean," Xavier started, "Look at you guys."

I suddenly remembered that I was resting my head against Lucas' chest and I looked down to find his arm wrapped around my waist.

What. The. Hell.

"Yeah...you guys should probably handle that. We'll see you guys later." Xavier said.

"Bye, guys," Desirée said following behind Xavier.

I stood back up and moved his hand from around my waist. "Why was your hand around my waist?"

"Because I put it there..."

I punched him on the shoulder.

"Aggressive I see."

I rolled my eyes and stood there staring at him. He finally caught my eyes and locked with them. It felt like an eternity had passed.

The second time in 1 day I really have to start controlling myself better.

"Well, I guess we should get going too," Lucas said interrupting our staring.

"I'm sorry we?" I said a couple of seconds later finally taking in what he said.
