After a week encased in the mysterious glass pod, Iselin finally began to stir. As she regained consciousness, she found herself in an unfamiliar environment, with the soft hum of medical equipment filling the air. Her eyes slowly adjusted to the light, and she realized she was inside a medical bay. Disorientation briefly clouded her thoughts.

A calming voice broke through the haze, "Take it easy. You're safe now."

Iselin turned her gaze to the source of the voice and saw a woman standing nearby. She had a reassuring presence, but Iselin couldn't recall ever meeting her before. "Where... where am I?" Iselin's voice was weak.

The woman activated the pod's release mechanism with a few taps on the holographic screen, causing it to gracefully open. "You're in our medical bay. One of our agents found you injured, and we brought you here for treatment."

As Iselin gradually regained her strength, the memories of her recent experiences began to flood back. She remembered the chaos and danger of the previous weeks, the desperate escape, and the encounter with Radivores. Attempting to sit up, Iselin found her strength waning, but Sage kindly assisted her, helping her rise slowly.

Sage could see the confusion in Iselin's eyes. "You've been through a lot," she said gently. "We had learned about the events in Norway recently from a Radiant comrade who delved into your recent memories. If you don't mind, we'd like to ask you some questions, just to understand your situation better."

Iselin, her voice weak, asked, "You invaded my memories?"

Sage, with a sincere tone, replied, "Yes, we did. I'm truly sorry for the intrusion. But we believe our world is in grave danger, and time is of the essence."

Iselin, though looking a bit bewildered, asked, "Who are you people?"

Sage replied with a reassuring smile, "We are the Valorant Protocol. Our purpose is to protect our planet from supernatural threats involving Radiants and Radianite. I am Sage, second in command."

An hour later

Gekko had confided in his newfound allies, disclosing a secret pact he had made with Kingdom. In a desperate bid to cover his mother's mounting medical expenses, he had agreed to undergo an experiment that would transform him into a superhuman.

This took place after Glitch, Omen, and Viper were no longer involved in Kingdom's special projects. It became evident that the mastermind behind this transformation was none other than Doctor Williams, who ironically refused to take part on the experiment which resulted the first 'Pseudo-Radiant', Omen.

In the training room, Glitch had taken it upon himself to help Gekko unlock the full potential of his unique powers. Gekko's abilities remained largely unexplored, and he was uncertain of the extent to which he could harness them.

Radiants typically exhibited a consistent range of power among themselves. All of them were powerful. Pseudo-Radiants, on the other hand, have a wider range of abilities due to their diverse affinity to Radianite and the surgical procedures they underwent.

While a Pseudo-Radiant's powers could be weak, another's could rival Radiants, or even be stronger than them. Gekko had always believed his powers to be relatively weak, a belief that Glitch, Reyna and Skye were determined to challenge.

Today was a special session, as Skye had agreed to join them, bringing her own unique talents to the table. The trio stood in one of the training rooms, a controlled environment where they could experiment without causing any harm.
