The heat of Spain wasn't helping with the all too familiar feeling of loss, was he losing Y/n? When he was in Japan, this feeling didn't even exist to him, but in Spain this feeling was all too familiar.

He wanted to text back, he really really did want to. He could at least hear her out, right? Maybe they could make amends, maybe what he thought had just been him overthinking, not that he'd want to say or believe that Shidou was right.

No deletes, no edits, no regrets, just the 3 words Sae could barely type last time.

Phone on his chest, head on his pillow, face covered in an autumn colored blush. His face almost looking like his hair.

No response was okay for Sae, he could wait for one, he could wait for as long as it took, as long as she could take.

If it was for her, did it really matter?

It's not like he can lose when he's with her.

He felt bad for lost time, so how could he snooze when he could be with her?

Usually things like this would be a waste, waiting around for someone? Yes, usually, but this time he was waiting for her, so that's what made it worth it.

Rereading the messages from the past and the present was almost like opening a present for him, well if that present wasn't a different soccer ball each year.

More like a euphoric feeling, a feeling almost unmatched.

Looking at the 'I love you' he sent was exciting, a rush of shades of pinks and reds were on his face, but it all felt worth it, regret no where to be found.
