The screen lights up, no facetime this time.
It didn't seem like they wanted to face each other very much, that's okay though.
"Hi Y/n, doing well?" a soft voice said, much softer than any other time they had called. She bit her tongue, what was she supposed to say anyway?
"Yeah, I'm doing well, you?" he sighs, relieved somehow.
"I've been doing fine, I missed you." he says firmly, he seems sure of himself rather than all the other times he bit back saying any of those words.
"I missed you too, Sae." hesitation, she hesitated when she said that. She shouldn't miss him especially after he ghosted her, it wasn't for that long though so she should be lenient.. right?
"I'm sorry." he stammers, it didn't seem like he had prepared a written apology. It didn't seem like he knew how to do that anyway he was used to being in the right.
She doesn't reply, she's still waiting for him.
"I'm sorry for acting stupid, I didn't know how to process that you had a "boyfriend" and it made me feel weird you were talking to another person. I know I'm not your only friend and that you have a life, but I just got jealous and I didn't know how to process it. I'm really sorry, Y/n." he says it firmly, he seems breathless or something.
Shit, what do I even say? I don't know, but I don't wanna disappoint him.
"Thank you.. For apologizing?" I sound unsure, I am unsure. How do you even respond to an apology? It's too much right now, I can just think about it later.
He doesn't know what to say,

"Yeah, it's the least I could do. I'm really sorry,
Y/n."
"Is it okay if I hang up to have some time to think this over? I'll call you back, promise." she says hurriedly.
"Yeah, that's fine. See you soon?" he asks, she can practically see the hope in his eyes. She'll accept his apology, won't she?
"Sure, Sae." she says slowly, clicking the hang up button.
What the hell was she supposed to do? Forgive him? Well yeah, but what after? Won't it be tense? Or awkward? Whatever, she could think this over tomorrow.
