Matt knocked on the door and Nick opened.
"Eve!" Nick smiled, hugging me.
"Hi Nick!" I said, hugging him back.
"Long time no see, huh." Nick said, pulling back.
"Yeah. I wonder how that comes." I 'subtlety' looked at Matt.
"Hey! Y'all have time enough to hang out. You have each other's phone number for a reason." Matt said defensively which made me giggle.
"Come on in." Nick smiled.
Nick went in and I followed with Matt behind me.
When I stepped in the kitchen, everyone looked at me.
"Eve!" Chris smiled.
I went over to him and sat on the couch next to him.
"Hi Chris!" I smiled back.
We talked for a while until Mary Lou walked in the living room.
"I didn't know we had guests." She smiled.
"Hi, Mary Lou!" I smiled, standing up.
"Hi sweetie." She chuckled, hugging me.
I hugged her back.
"What brings you here?" She asked, pulling back.
"Luke, again." I sighed.
"That guy is annoying me." She said and I giggled.
"Me too, but Matt already helped me with it. Matt has been really supportive." I smiled, looking at Matt.
"Well I love to hear that. Any compliment of my son is good." Mary Lou said and I giggled.
"It's true. Your son really helped me. Not only with the Luke stuff, but with like, personal stuff too." I smiled.
"You have helped Matt with loads of stuff too. He's told me." Mary Lou whispered.
I giggled and sat back on the couch.
The rest of the day was just talking until everyone got tired and went to bed.
