IT WAS THE next morning Marie had gotten up at six along with Esperanza, while getting ready Marie had some butterflies in her stomach along with a bit of anxiety while getting ready. But she eventually breathed remembering how Miles was while messaging her so it couldn't be awkward, right?

Marie had parted her way from Esperanza to go to her locker and do whatever she would do, Before Marie had even gotten to the room to see if he was in there, she had gotten a message from Esperanza saying 'You got this!!!' Marie smiled at the message but then got a message from Miles on Instagram.

Hey I'm almost to the hall,
Where are you?
Seen just now

I'm near our lockers

Okay, I'll be there in some time
Seen just now

Marie took out her headphones she put them over her head onto her ears and played a playlist on her phone. She started bopping her head to the beat of the song and sat down in the floor on her locker she looked through her bag and saw the book she had been reading two minutes into reading her book she heard footsteps getting closer to her she looked ahead and saw no one but then she looked over and saw someone in all black Jordan's she looked up and saw it was Miles. "Oh Miles hey", She says while trying to stand up from sitting down on the floor

"Hey Marie, Sorry it took me long I had to grab a couple of things from my dorm", Miles said. As Miles started to talk more Marie noticed his accent more and more now than she did before and like she remembered it was a strong Latin accent she didn't want to ask him about it because she thought he wasn't comfortable with her like that. "Oh well I hope you read my other message, you had no need to rush", Marie says while grabbing her bag from the floor

"Oh sorry I must've read the text wrong, it happens to me a lot at times", Miles replied. "Oh no that's understandable", Marie says Miles looks over Marie's shoulder and sees their first period teacher opening the door he said good morning to the two and they responded with Good Morning. "Hey, teach do you mind if we come inside your room until class starts?", Miles asks "Oh sure I don't see why not", The teacher answered.

Miles and Marie followed their teacher inside of his classroom while he was getting things settled in Marie and Miles sat next to each other in the front it was a little awkward because they did not know what to talk about, every time one of them would look at each other the other one would look down so it wouldn't seem like they were just being weird. "So I've seen some of your posts. . .How long have you known Esperanza?", Miles asks

"Oh well um, I've known her since freshmen year", Marie answered "You two seem like good friends", He replied "Yeah, we are same interests and everything", Marie says while twiddling with her fingers "How about you and Ganke?" "Same thing Freshmen year, we hardly talked in the beginning, but soon we became good friends", Miles answered to which Marie nodded to. Marie had butterflies in her stomach still with anxiety and excitement as the two continued to talk they had both realized how many things they both liked

Marie couldn't stop smiling at him and Miles couldn't stop looking at her in a cute way, Soon class had started they went to their seats but the entire time of being in class they could not get each other off of their minds mostly Miles when class had ended Marie had an idea that they both could probably study on the test they would be having Miles agreed they agreed on going after school to the local coffee shop that was near by the school and meeting up there.

During the rest of school Marie was  day dreaming but trying to pay attention in her classes she was so excited about after school that she hadn't told Esperanza or their other friends about the "date" her and Miles would be going on "Okay, you ready to head back to the dorm?", Esperanza asked "Oh sorry I can't I'm gonna be studying for a test", Marie answered "Oh then I'll come with you", Esperanza replied "Oh no you don't have to, I'm going with someone anyways", Marie said while picking up her bag.

"Who's that?", Esperanza asked before even answering her question Marie giggled "I'm going with Miles" Esperanza jaw dropped "You go girl!!!"

Around 3:20 P.M. Marie was at the coffee shop looking out the window seeing if she could see Miles through the crowd of people walking on the street "Where is he?" She thought "I hope he's not being held up"  Marie stopped looking out the window and sighed she looked through her bag for her phone and then heard the door open and heavy breathing "Hey Marie" she looked up and saw Miles "Oh Miles, there you are I was waiting for you", She said with a smile on her face.

"Yeah sorry I got held up a bit", He said while sitting down across from her and putting his bag on the floor "I figured but it's fine, so do you wanna start or order something first?", Marie asks "I'll order don't worry you think you can set everything up a little?", Miles asked "Oh sure, you know what I want?", Marie said "Yeah I mean you said it earlier, donut holes", He says Marie hummed with her eyes looking down and a smile creeping on her face "Yep you got it"

He smiled at her and went to order "He's a damn gentleman",  Marie thought. After he ordered Marie and Miles started their study session through the entire session they were both smiling at each other her heart was beating fast his was beating faster and every time one of them would look at each other they couldn't help but smile and or laugh. "Okay so this part of the problem is the easiest at least that's what I think", Marie said "Mhm", Miles hummed

While trying to explain how to do the question Miles's phone started to ring he looked at it and declined it but then it rang again he sighed while looking at it "Hold on let me take this", He said while getting up from the chair and going outside to talk to whoever Marie kept looking at him through the window noticing the body language, he seemed shocked and annoyed he hung up the phone and looked up at the sky Miles walked back into the coffee shop "Hey sorry we may have to end this a little early", He said while packing up his supplies and things

"Oh okay, well it was nice studying with you", Marie said "Yeah you two um your great at tutoring as well okay I gotta go bye", Miles said while walking out the door quickly. Marie sighed and started grabbing her things and putting them in her bag "Boys always having to leave fast", an old man said he had gray hair was wearing glasses "Yeah", Marie replied.
