Chapter 43: Weakness

It was time for Lunch, Barbara face Daniel. "I wanna speak with you.. but I need to do something first" She said and Daniel nodded.

He pack his books and made to head towards the library but a hand pulled him to a corner.

"Patricia?" He frowned.

"Yeah.. I.. I need to speak with you" She said, looking a bit disturbed.

"Which is?" Daniel raised his brow.

"What did you do to me?" She asked.

"I didn't do anything, I swear.."

"No you did something.. I'm a hot girl but right now, I've been ignored by students.. I mean why the hell am I stalking you and why do I get riled up whenever I see you with Barbara" she almost raised her voice.

Daniel's lips parted with surprise. "Wait.. don't tell me you're... Jealous" he muttered.

"No I'm not Jealous.. I'm just upset whenever I see you with Barbara" she explained.

"That's the definition of jealous"

"And if someone is jealous what does that mean?" She asked.

Daniel blinked severally. "It means you like the person"

"Does this means I like you?" Patricia eyes widened.

"I'm shocked myself" Daniel muttered with shock registered on his face.

Patricia slowly went down and Daniel quickly caught her waist.

'This is a dream right? Why is my heart fluttering at his touch?' she asked herself inwardly.

"Are you okay? Should I take you to the clinic?" He asked still holding her waist.

Patricia stood up right and cleared her throat.. "I'm fine" with her face flushed, she left him there.

Daniel couldn't help but thought about what just happened. Patricia likes him? The hot girl who bully him a lot, likes him? Shaking his head he head towards the library to lend a book. He finally got to see Barbara.

"You said you want to tell me something" He said to her.

"Yeah.. I.." Barbara took a deep breath. "I like you and I wish us to be more than friends. I've been thinking about this for a while now and I think I've made up my mind.." Barbara bit her lips.

Daniel was so stun he couldn't say anything.

Two girls just proposed to him.. on the same day!!

Is he still on earth?

"Annabelle.. I think something is wrong with the school" Daniel rushed to tell Annabelle who was busy sitting alone. She was busy staring at the name she wrote in the class earlier.

"What happened?" Annabelle asked and Daniel told her how Patricia and Barbara asked him out.

"I don't know what to do.. I mean it was so unexpected. Why would they want someone like me?"

Annabelle smirked.. "Do you want an advice?" She asked.

"Yes please, I feel suffocated right now" he said.

"Then. You have to do me a favour"

After lunch, Ethan just finished his practice and to his dismay, he saw Daniel sitting back on his seat. With a frown, he walked towards him.

"What do you think you're doing?" He asked. His eye went to Annabelle but she wasn't looking at him.

"This is my seat and I don't want to leave" Daniel replied. Annabelle was the one who asked him to say that word.
