Chapter 65: Battle (1)

Ethan and Ricky stared at each other with distain and hatred. Both of them clinched their fist tight vigilant on who is attacking first.

"Guys stay back no matter what" Ethan said while other could only hope things will go well. The place was wide enough for their fight and Ethan is not going to make this guy get away this time. If his devil activates, then so be it.

Ricky charged first since he was impatient. He sent a punch toward Ethan but he was fast enough to block it. Another punch came and it landed on Ethan's stomach. Before he could recover from the attack, Ricky punched him on the face and he fell hard.

Mrs Serena made to stand but Liam held her, he shook his head telling her not to intervene. "You should find a way to treat Maria and trust your son on this" He said and Mrs Serena finally nod.

Selene was with Carson trying to keep him calm.

"Motherfucker!" Ricky roared punching Ethan in the face, his lips bursted from it and he graoned out in pain.

Ricky held him by the shirt and drag him up. "You just dive yourself into the pit of hell" he said.

A punch landed on Ethan stomach and he fell heavily on the floor. He was breathing way too hard, blood dripping down on his lips.

Liam clinched his fist as he watch Ethan. Mrs Serena couldn't take it anymore.

Maria's eyes are heavy, she might pass out soon.

"Leave my son alone!" She stood and yelled.

Ricky chuckled and stepped towards her slowly. "Or what?" He asked, his voice daring.

Mrs Serena eyes teared up. "Why can't you just leave us alone" she muttered but next thing was a sting on her cheek as Ricky slapped her across the face.

Ethan eyes widened like that of the moon.

"Bitch" Ricky muttered but then heard the heavy breath of the guy behind him

"Hey" came a deep cold voice behind him. Turning slowly he eyes settled in Ethan. The boy's eyes was cold as fuck and he look dangerous. "You're dead"

He could finally feel the devil in him and he's not stopping this time.

Meanwhile at the dragons**

Annabelle launched at first, her she swing her daggers attacking his waist, her moves were fast and dangerous unlike the last time. Lord Smith found it exciting while dodging her attack.

She jumped to kick his face for a distraction. Lord Smith thought he knows his next move but he didn't. She swing herself backwards and kicked his face with her other leg.

Lord Smith staggered backward a little, he felt a sting on his cheek and reached out for it with his finger. His brow curved down when he saw the blood. After many so many years, this would be the first time someone would actually wound him.

Annabelle's shoes has a hidden, small and sharp blade connected to he shoes. She had been training to use it.

Lord Smith let out a dark chuckle, as he slowly remove his suit. "Well doll, I guess I don't have to go easy then" He clinched his jaw hard and attacked her this time.

The fight was fierce and hard as they both throw attacks on each other. Annabelle was right, this man is too strong, she put in her all and swing her dagger towards his waist but it only torn the white shirt that was on Lord Smith.

He gave off a dark chuckle, looking like a devil. His hand however suddenly grab her neck hard and hit her against the wall. Blood came out of Annabelle's lips like a small fountain but that doesn't stopped her from attacking again.

She swing her leg to his face. The small blade barely missed his skin.

Lord Smith's expression shows he was enjoying this. He swing his leg to her face too but Annabelle was fast enough to duck, his leg hit the wall with a loud thud.

"Arghh" Annabelle charged again, but grab her hand and swung her down to the floor. A cry of pain escaped her lips.

"One thing you don't know doll" He wiped the small blood on his lips resulted from the fight he had with her. "I'm the number one strongest man in the clan" he grin.

Ricky chuckled and charge towards Ethan but his attack was blocked. Ethan gave him a devilish smirk before sending seven punches in Ricky's face non stop.

Before Ricky could recover, Ethan twisted Ricky hand behind and broke it visciously.

Liam and others eyes widened. Especially Mrs Serena, this would be the first time he'll withness this side of her son.

"Ahhh!!" A loud resounding cry left Ricky's lips as Ethan broke his second hand. Felling the pain Ricky staggered, his vein were visible on the neck. Ethan's hit were deadly and he felt like he can't win this anymore.

Turning, he grabbed Selene that was close to him and placed a knife on her neck. His hand hurts but he could still use the dagger.

"Don't come any closer" He warned holding Selene's hair tight.

Liam heart was pounding hard against his chest as he exchange a look with Selene.

Ethan stepped close.

"I'm fucking serious, I'm going to slash her throat right now if you take any step closer!" Ricky warned out loud.

"Are you scared now?" Ethan asked as he stopped walking.

"No I'm not, I wish for you to see your friends die before you die yourself" Ricky said.

Selene's eyes were on Liam the whole time, her heart was pounding hard against her chest and tears filled her eyes. 'The groin' Liam mouthed and Selene slowly got her confidence back.

Selene closed her eyes and opened them again. She hit Ricky's hurt waist with her elbow, then bought the hand of Ricky holding the knife down from her neck. Turning to face him, she kicked his groin hard, escaping from his hold.

Ricky's eyes rolled back his socket. The pain was extreme. He held his groin with one hand.

Mrs Serena grabbed a flower vase, marched towards Ricky and smashed it on his head.

Ricky passed out immediately with blood dripping down his head. Her eyes went towards Ethan who gave her a small smile.

Selene rushed to hug Liam tight.

"Nice job gangster" Liam said.

"I wouldn't have done it without you" Selene muttered. She broke the hug and kissed him on the lips. "Thanks" she grin.

"I'm glad you're okay" Liam replied kissing her on her head.

Ethan walked towards his mom and hugged her too. His eyes teared up and he began to cry.

"When did my baby know how to fight?" Mrs Serena's voice croaked as her eyes teared up too.

"Ever since father died, I decided to make myself strong. I'm sorry he had to hit you like that" Ethan said in between his sob.

"It's alright" Mrs Serena pat her son's back gently. "You saved us all" she whispered.

"Uhm.. help" Carson who had been quiet the whole time spoke up and they all turn to look at him. "This woman just closed her eyes" He said pointing towards Maria who lose conciousness already.

"Shit" Mrs Serena cursed under her breath and rushed towards her. "Help me lift her up to the table" she said and Maria was placed on the table.

Luckily, due to Peter's suggestions, Mrs Serena bought her hospital equipment so she placed everything on the table.

She set the drip and placed an oxygen mask in her mouth. She checked her heart beat and found out it was slowing down. She gave Maria an injection.. she needs to remove the bullet in her waist so she can stop the bleeding.

"You guys should leave and watch Ricky, I'll handle this" She said, wearing her nose mask.
