The day after Christmas, the trio found themselves scattered across their respective estates – Fantasia in North Carolina, Taraji in Washington D.C., and Danielle in New York. Danielle, always the orchestrator of connections, initiated a Group FaceTime, bringing the leading ladies together in a virtual reunion.
Danielle's infectious laughter echoed through the digital realm as their faces appeared on the screen. "Hey, my beautiful sisters! How's the day after Christmas treating you?"
Fantasia, nestled in the coziness of her North Carolina estate, grinned. "Hey, Danielle! I'm just chilling, enjoying the holiday vibes. What about you?" She said, in her soft but yet raspy voice.
Taraji, appearing on screen from her stylish Washington D.C. home, chimed in with her signature confidence. "Same here, Danielle. You know we stay winning, boo."
Danielle chuckled, her lively energy contagious even through the screen. "Alright, alright! Now, let's spill the tea. Have you ladies seen all the buzz about The Color Purple movie?"
Fantasia and Taraji exchanged glances, both aware of the playful tease that was about to unfold. The recent press tour and unspoken conflicts were momentarily pushed aside as Danielle delved into the topic.
"Yeah, Danielle, we've seen it," Taraji replied, a mischievous glint in her eyes. "What's on your mind?"
Danielle's laughter grew louder. "Oh, you know exactly what's on my mind! That kiss between you two on-screen? Whew! The internet's on fire about it. Did y'all plan that or what?"
Fantasia, usually reserved, couldn't help but blush at Danielle's teasing. "Danielle, you know we were just acting. It's part of the story."
"But was it really just acting?" Danielle teased, the mischief evident in her tone.
Taraji, always ready for banter, joined in. "Yeah, Tasia, was it just acting? You know how much I love bringing that authenticity to the scenes."
Fantasia rolled her eyes playfully, the camaraderie evident even through the virtual space. "Taraji, stop playing. You know it was just acting. The internet just likes to stir things up."
Danielle, reveling in the banter, continued to tease. "Well, I'm just saying, y'all brought some real heat to the screen. The fans are shipping y'all like crazy." Lets see, 'Fanraji' or "Tarasia" mhmm nah, I'll come up with a ship name soon!
Taraji laughed heartily, her vibrant personality shining through. "Let them ship, Danielle. It's all love."
Fantasia, still blushing, added, "Yeah, let them have their fun. It's just a movie, after all."
