4. HE IS ON HIS KNEES

Aashi and maanveer came inside and took seat

"What,finish,this soon we took half an hour" jaiveer aaked whispering in riddhima's ear

"They must have talked something genuine, not like you. What's your favorite color,what's your favorite dish,what's your favorite movies" riddhima said mimicking him

Jaiveer rolled his eyes

"I hope you both are clear with your decision,take your time" dadisa said caressing her hairs. She nodded a little

"Let's go then" nityam said

They all stood up. Maanveer was Glancing at her time to time but she was too shy to raise her head. They left but maanveer took baby steps and he was last. Aashi was standing in hall only. Familes left and only maanveer and aashi was in hall. He was backfacing her

"Humari haa hai,Hume apke jawab ka intezar rahega" maanveer said and left without turning back

Aashi widen her eyes in shock

After biding raghuvanshis, singhanias came inside. Jaiveer smiled mischievously looking at aashi,she understood his intentions and without wasting any second,she ran to her room taking long steps. Jaiveer chased her but before he could catch her,she slammed her door and closed her eyes breathing heavily. Jaiveer banged her door

"This is not fair aashu,you teased me alot when i first met riddhima. Open the damn door" jaiveer whined

"Everything is fair in love and war bhaisa, you know na how much i love you" aashi said and giggled

"Let maanveer to declare his decision,i swear i will tease you like anything" jaiveer said and left

Aashi blushed hearing his name. She covered hed face with her hands to hide her blush. She again heard bang on her door

"Jija,please open the door. I want my book from you room" priyanka said

"Is jaiveer bhaisa is with you" aashi asked

"No" priyanka said

Aashi opened the door little and found jaiveer and priyanka standing there. She immidiatley tried to close the door but jaiveer and priyanka was too fast to enter inside. Aashi attemped to leave the room but jaiveer stopped her and closed the door

"So,how was he" jaiveer asked putting his elbow on her shoulder

"Nice" aashi said with akward smile

"Hmm..but his nose wasn't perfect, eyes were too big and his teeths were too yellow" priyanka said faking upset

"Noooooo,he is so handsome" aashi said widing her eyes

"Ohoooo handsome and all" jaiveer said teasingly

"Bhaisaaaaa" aashi whined and hide her face with her hands

Jaiveer smiled and hugged her

"I can see you answer by your face. But still i want you to think before you tell your answer" jaiveer said and kissed her forehead

Maanveer was smiling throughout the whole ride. As he was driving alone he didn't care about anything. Her face,her smile and her soft voice were echoing in his ears. He chuckled remembering her face when he lifted her face with his fingers

Next day, eveyone was gathered at breakfast table. Maanveer came and took his seat. Servants came ans served him. He noticed everyone was taking glance of him through the whole breakfast but he stayed silent. After finishing his breakfast, he joined his hands towards the plate

"Beta,what's your answer then" dadisa asked hesitating

"It's yes from my side since day one,wait for her answer" maanveer said and stood up "I'm leaving,bye" he said and left leaving his family shocked

Maanveer was about to cross the entrance but h stopped hearing his dadisa

"It's balwant's call" she said to everyone. Maanveer's heart started beating fast

"Take it dadisa,i think it's yes from bhabhisa" aarav said excitedly

"Stop calling her bhabhisa,let her decide" sharda said and slapped his head gently

"Hello" shashidhara recived the call "ohh that's great,actually it's yes from maan...okay..okay...ji..." she cut the call

"It's yes right" aarav asked

"Yes,she said yes" shashidhara declared with smile

Maanveer's heart skipped a beat hearing his dadisa's word "yes" he smiled widely and left ruffling his setted hairs

"Congratulations aashuuuuu" jaiveer said and shook aashi

Aashi was standing between her family. They all had smile on their faces. Aashi blushed

"Kaise ha nahi karte,humari aashi hai hi itni pyari" her kakisa said and cupped her face

"I'm so happy" her mother said caressing her hairs

"Aashu i know you must have thought thousand time,but do you want to meet him again. I mean do you have any doubts. Aashu,there's no need to hurry" jaiveer said in serious tone

"No bhaisa,i don't have any doubts" she said and smiled at her brother's care

"But still,do one thing. Me and riddhima are going to attend one business party today,and i think maanveer is invited too,you also come" jaiveer said

Aashi looked at her father

"Baba,she can come right" jaiveer asked

"Ofcource beta,akhir ye apki zindagi ka sawal hai" her father said

Jaiveer stopped his car infront of grand hotel. He,aashi and riddhima came outside. Aashi wore heels for the first time,she was having problem in walking

"If you're not comfortable then why did you wear heels aashi baisa" riddhima asked

Before aashi can say anything, jaiveer interrupted

"Because maanveer has a good height na,so she wore heels to match his height" jaiveer said and laughed

"The...there's nothing like that bhaisa,i wanted to wear as i love this sandals" aashi whined

"Yeahh" jaiveer said and rolled his eyes

"Welcome mr singhania" they heard voice,host of the party. Jaiveer took steps towards them to greet him. He gestured riddhima to come, aashi was struggling with straps of her heels. Riddhima left

"Bhaisa was right,it was bad decision to match his height" aashi said struggling with her sandals

She was struggling with her dupatta too. Out of nowhere she felt cold touch around her feet while she was setting her dupatta. She looked down and saw man in three piece on his knees and was hooking her straps of sandal. Before she could react,he stood up and aashi widen her eyes in shock,it was maanveer

"Hukum,you didn't had to do this" she said

"It's okay baisa,you were struggling with it and my hands were free. I can atleast help you,can't i" he asked smiling

"But still" she was saying something but maanveer interrupted

"But you look cute reaching to my torso,there's no need to wear heels when you're uncomfortable" maanveer said and aashi's cheeks turned red. She looked everywhere but him. He smirked "Let's go" he said forwarding his hands. Aashi nodded and took steps inside without meeting his gaze. Maanveer took his phone from his driver's hand which he gave few minitues ago to tie her sandal's straps and went inside
