7. MEHENDI

Two week went in blur. It was their mehendi day today. Aashi was sitting wifi her hands. Artists were applying mehendi in her hands. Jaiveer came with plate in his hand and sat beside her

"Wowww,kachori" aashi said excitedly

"Yes and it's for me" jaiveer said and took bite

"Bhaisa you're so bad" aashi whinned

"What will you do,complain to your maanveer" jaiveer teased

"I'm not talking to you" aashi said and turned her head to another side. She smlled Kachori near her nose. She lower her head and saw jaiveer's hand holding kachori near her mouth, she tilted her head towards him and narrowed her eyes

"Kha le mere haath se,kya pata aage kab mohka mile" jaiveer said in low voice

Aashi's eyes got teary

"Why are you saying this bhaisa,i will come here and you have to feed me with your hand" aashi said in baby voice

Jaiveer chuckled and nodded. Aashi took bite

"By the way how's my mehendi" she asked excitedly

"Beautiful, just like my doll" jaiveer said and kissed her hairs

"You know what i struggled alot to found a perfect design" she was telling to jaiveer and heard Aarav's voice

"Bhabhisaaa" aarav yelled. Aashi tilted her head and saw everyone coming inside expect maanveer. Jaiveer left to greet them. Aarav came near her and sat beside her. Aashi's eyes were searching for maanveer

"He didn't came" aarav said grabbing her attention. Aashi smiled awkwardly and nodded

"Actually he went for an important meeting" aarav said casually

"Meeting,today. Don't he remember that it's our wedding" aashi asked in disbelief

"What can i say bhabhisa,his first love is his work. I doubt,kahi shadi ke din unki jaruri meeting aagyi to" aarav asked making horror face

Aashi's face fall down. But she heard maanveer's voice. She tilted her head and saw him greeting her family. A wide smile appeared on her face. She looked at aarav and narrowed her eyes faking anger

"I think i should complain your brother " aashi said

"Pardon me madam,pehle se hi apke would be husband hum par aag barsa rahe hai" aarav said joining his hands,aashi giggled

After some time, aashi's mehendi was done but it wasn't dry. Jaiveer was feeding riddhima. Maanveer and aashi's eyes met by mistake. He asked her to eat through eyes and she denied. In reality she was hungry but she was too shy to say this to maanveer. Aarav came and informed aashi that photographers are asking for her for photos. Aashi nodded and left the place

She reached back side of garden area and found it empty

"Aarav banna said photographers are here" aashi mumbled

She turned to leave and saw maanveer coming towards her holdinh plate in his hand. He approached her and put plate on table. He made her seat on chair and he sat next to her. Maanveer took morsel and placed it to near her mouth. She opened her mouth and ate it,all this while they didn't blinked for a second lookint at eachother

"Haq se order dena sikhiye" he said placing another morsel near her lips

"Hume kuch bolna hi nahi padta,aap samaj ho jate hain" she said and took bite

Maanveer smiled and placed another morsel near her lips

"Did you ate " she asked. Maanveer shook his head
