22. HIS WARNING

Maanveer opened the main door and saw aarav roaming in hall. He took steps indside,aarav saw him coming and stopped. Maanveer stopped infront of him

"Why are you still up,it's already late" maanveer asked eyeing at clock which shows one in night

"Actually, i wanted to tell you something" aarav said in serious tone

Sensing seriousness in his tone,maanveer narrowed his eyes

"Is it about aashi" he asked in calm voice

"It's not about bhabhisa,but it's related to her" aarav said

"Say" maanveer said in ordering tone

Aarav spilled out everything to maanveer about nandni. The drama she created when aashi asked shashidhara for permission, and when jaiveer came empty hands on rakshabandhan

Maanveer to left to his room. Locking the room,he turned and saw aashi sleeping peacefully on bed. He approached her and sat beside her. Leaning down he placed a tender kisses to her forehead and cheeks. Aashi smiled in sleep. Maanveer changed his clothed and slept beside her taking her in his embrace

Next day,aashi wokeup and saw herself sleeping on maanveer. She kissed his cheeks

"Good morning veer" she said in morning voice

"Good morning jaana" he said and kissed her cheeks

"I missed you so much" she said while playing with his beard

"And i missed you tooo" he said playing with her hairs

"I'm sorry i didn't talked to you properly yesterday, but i was missing jaiveer bhaisa" she apologized

"It's okay jaana,i can understand " he said "by the way he came yesterday right" he asked

"Yes,he directly came from his meeting" she said

"That's great" he said

"And you know he gifted me beautiful diamond necklace" she said

"Then you should wear it today" he suggested

"Why,i will wear it on some occasion" she said narrowing her eyes

"It's our sixth month anniversary, do we need any occasion" he said

"Yes" she said and left

After some time,aashi and maanveer came downstairs. Aashi wore the neck piece which was gifted by jaiveer. They sat on their chairs and everyone started their breakfast

"I hope you're getting my point" maanveer said "and one more thing,she is future queen of songadh so she doesn't need anyone's permission before doing or going anywhere, and if she is doing toh wo unke sanskar hai" maanveer said in calm yet dangerous tone

"She isn't queen yet" shashidhara interrupted in offensive tone

"But she is my wife,and i gave permission for everything,ab unhe kisi aur se puchne ki jarurat nahi hai" he said in casual tone

Aashi gently placed her hand to his thigh to stop him

"I think you're clear with everything bhuasa,yes I'm less talkative but that doesn't mean i will ignore if someone will disrespect my wife" maanveer said and leaned back

"But she is daughter-in-law of raghuvanshi family,she have to ask for the permission" shashidhara said with stern face

"Why" maanveer questioned "why she have to ask,do you know at what time i came back yesterday's night" he asked

"No" shashidhara replied

"Agar parivar ke bete par koi pabandhi nahi hai to bahu par kyu" he asked "and beside of all this,she is my wife,and if i give permission then she doesn't need anyone else's permission" he said

Everyone had a natural face,nandni was embarrassed,shashidhara was offended and aarav had a proud and happy smile

"Aarav,report me at 8" saying this maanveer stood up

Aarav's smile fade away

"Aashi i have to talk to you come with me" he said and left

Aashi eyed at everyone and left with worried face

"Veer,why you did all this" she asked as soon as she reached to their room

"Jaana" he turned and held her shoulders "see,i know you don't like all this but you have to understand one thing, chahe aap jitna pyar karo kisiko,agar us insaan ki fitrat hi aapko nafrat karne ki hai to wo nahi badlega. I won't say anything now but keep one thing in your mind,stay away from bhuasa" he said caressing her cheeks

"But she is our family member veer" she said

"Ye parivar aapka humari wajah se hai,aur hum hi keh rahe hai to baat ko samjne ki koshish kijiye" he said and kissed her forehead "humare parivar ko humse badhkar koi aur nahi jan sakta" he said and smiled awkwardly "I'm leaving now,bye i love you" saying this he left

Aashi stood their with confused heart
