Part 23 ~ Eccentric

Suhani's pov

I don't know why her father was looking so intimidating to me , but some sort of strange feeling started growing in me as I saw him more , his aura was so intimidating yet powerful . my initial feeling of intimidation only grew stronger. His imposing presence seemed to fill the room , and I found myself struggling to maintain eye contact . There was a sense of power and authority emanating from him that left me feeling slightly apprehensive. I couldn't help but feel a little intimidated by his aura. He was caring and deeply devoted to his daughter, but his daughter seemed to have an uneasiness on her face the whole time . I couldn't shake the uneasy feeling that had settled in my chest , making me feel sort of insignificant .

" Ranisa , Aap kaisi hain ? " ( How're you , Ranisa ) Tara's father asked and Dadisa smiled , she replied with a sweet smile

" Hum to acche hain , Shashank , Aap bataiye " ( I'm fine , Shashank , what about you ? )

" Bas Aapki Dua hai " ( All good by your grace ) He replied as he noticed every person in the living room with his sharp and composed eyes

" Riddhi , aur Aap kaisi hain ? " ( Riddhi , you tell me how are you ? ) Dadisa asked Tara's mother while embracing her , she hugged her back

" Bas Aapka aashirvaad hai , Ranisa " ( All good by your Grace , Ranisa ) She replied with a gentle smile

" Aur aap hamesha ki tarah puchna chahti hongi ki Business kaisa chal raha hai , to wo bhi bohot hi accha chal raha hai " ( and before you ask , the business is also going very well ) Shashank uncle replied beforehand and everyone started to laugh

" Let's all have a seat , then " Dadisa said and everyone sat , Me and my friends stood aside with the attendees and the staff

" Are beta....Krish , Suhani , Ahana , aap teeno bhi aaiye na " ( kiddos , you three also come ) Dadisa's welcoming voice reached our ears and we also sat on the other couch

" Uncle , Aunty....Meet , Dr Suhani , Dr Ahana and Dr krish...Dadisa's
Cardiologists " Mr Rathore's voice held a sense of pride as he spoke . his voice carried a distinct sense of pride. His words were delivered with confidence and a deep sense of conviction , as if he was so pleased to introduce us . This pride was not arrogant or overbearing , but rather a quiet , understated confidence that radiated from within

" No need to introduce , who doesn't know them , everyone does here...Thank you so much for saving her...it means a lot " Tara's father said with a small smile on his face , and Her mother looked at us with pure adoration

" No need , Sir . It's our duty " Krish said softly , Ahana and I looked at him proudly and nodded our heads together , agreeing to his statement

" So that means , We've become famous now ? " Ahana's curious voice made everybody laugh

" Ahana , please meri Maa , shaant hoja abhi , Uppar jaake baat karenge hum , abhi kuch mat bol " ( Ahana , please don't talk now , we'll discuss it later ) I whispered in her ears and she blinked her eyes and nodded

( Waise hi Shashank uncle Ajeeb se lag rahe hain mujhe , uppar se Ahana aise bolegi to unki nazar hum logon pe hi rahegi ) * Shashank uncle is already looking strange to me but this girl will surely make him look at us with doubt , 24/7 *

I sighed with a relief !!

" Ranisa , humne pandit ji se baat Kar li hai aur unhone shubh muhrat parso ka bataya hai , Agar parso nahi to phir seedha agle saal hi sagaai ho sakti hai " ( Ranisa , we've discussed the engagement date with the priest and he said that the auspicious date would be day after tomorrow , otherwise we'll have to wait till next year ) Riddhi aunty said , Dadisa looked at Mr Rathore before replying anything , Mr Rathore's face showed a sense of discomfort and Tara looked as if she would cry anytime now
