2.1 The Chase/Confrontation

Claire P.O.V.

Claire's body throbbed with pain as she ascended the staircase, her left shoulder protesting each movement after her fall in the exposed area of the library. Lockers lined the corridor, with no students on site.

Turning a corner, Claire's heart skipped a beat at the sight of Miss Bloomie standing menacingly alone. The test paper clutched in her right hand bore a glaring scarlet 'F,' a damning Claire's efforts. But it was Miss Bloomie's menacing stance and her left arm, a razor-sharp appendage, that froze Claire in terror.

"Run," Miss Bloomie commanded with chilling finality, her eyes flashing with an otherworldly intensity that sent shivers down Claire's spine.

With those ominous words echoing in her mind, Claire's survival instinct kicked into high gear, urging her to flee. She bolted down the corridor, every muscle screaming with exertion as she raced against the encroaching danger in the form of her science teacher.

But despite her frantic pace, Miss Bloomie proved relentless. Miss Bloomie's figure loomed closer with each passing moment, her left razor appendage poised menacingly above her head, ready to strike. It was as if she were toying with Claire.

With each step, Claire could feel the cold breath of impending doom on her neck, driving her onward in a desperate bid for survival. But no matter how fast she ran, Miss Bloomie's eerie calmness and supernatural speed closed the gap between them with terrifying efficiency.

In a sudden flurry of action, Claire darted into a nearby locker, hoping to evade Miss Bloomie's looming threat as she brandished her raised razor appendage. Unbeknownst to Claire, Miss Bloomie intentionally missed her, for reasons yet unknown.

Emerging from the locker, Claire encountered another ominous figure, Miss Thavel, holding a failed test paper, much like Miss Bloomie. However, upon spotting Claire, Miss Thavel crumpled the paper menacingly and flashed a sinister smile.

Fearing that Miss Thavel and Miss Bloomie are on the same side, and due to her survival instincts, Claire impulsively hurled a notebook she got from a nearby unlocked locker at Miss Thavel before bolting away. With chilling precision, Miss Thavel sliced the notebook in two and pursued Claire with a malevolent laugh.

As Claire dashed down the hallway, she stumbled upon Miss Circle, who held a surprise quiz questionnaire with a glaring red F. With a wide grin, Miss Circle effortlessly cracked the wall beside her with a swing of her compass and lunged at Claire, but Claire managed to evade in time. As Miss Circle left Compass Prosthetic, she shattered the floor, and seeing the sight of it, Claire immediately ran away.

Thus began a frantic pursuit as Claire evaded the relentless trio of teachers. Miss Bloomie chased her towards the kindergarten arts class, Miss Thavel stalked her into the gymnasium with antlers growing in her head, and Miss Circle prowled through the cafeteria, causing chaos. Thankfully, Miss Bia intervened to scold Miss Circle for disrupting the students' meals, providing Claire with a brief break from the Miss Circle chase in the cafeteria.

In the bustling crossroads of the hallway, Claire found herself nearly cornered by the trio of teachers. Spotting a narrow opening, she dashed through, narrowly avoiding the encroaching threat. However, her escape was cut short as Miss Thavel's swift action with the use of her Razor Appendage left a gash on the middle part of her calf and heel, sending her tumbling to the floor in agony.

Hovering menacingly over her, the three teachers loomed, each with their own eerie presence. Miss Bloomie's smile seemed to conceal dark intentions, while Miss Thavel's wide-open eye, devoid of pupils, sent a shiver down Claire's spine. Miss Circle, with her compass prosthetic raised threateningly, was poised for a fatal blow.
