poem #6: i loved you

i wake up every morning,
without waiting for any text,
i sleep at night,
without waiting for a "good night",

but sometimes i still miss,
the way i wait for you,
waiting for your call,
the way i loved you.

i don't have to worry anymore,
about where you are,
where have you been,
or who you are with.

but sometimes i still miss it,
when you tell me it's fine,
even if it's a lie,
you know me so well.

i can now stare at the moon,
watch sunsets,
listen to your favorite song,
without any stab in my chest.

but sometimes i still wonder,
do you still think of me,
when you see those things,
we both used to love?

i don't remember you anymore,
as often as i did before,
but sometimes,
i still search for you.

in every single soul,
that i meet,
and in every eyes,
that i stare.
