Piper

It only took a few hours to get to Blood Star territory. We stopped a few times, but they were short breaks. I wasn't sure if Caleb got the note. So I didn't know if he was coming after me. I feel bad for lying. But it would make him stay away. I couldn't risk him coming after me and getting more people hurt.

Phil was the first one to shift back. We all shifted shortly after him. Kevin, the guy who spotted me, stood next to Phil and Matt. Matt is the other guy that was sitting with Kevin. There's also a chick named Trinity here. She's the only one that talked to be besides Kevin, Phil, and Matt. It was probably because she's the youngest- at age 17. Rogues these days are so young.

I softly laughed at my thoughts. I was 13 when I went rogue; and I had an eight year old with me. I was such a little rebel.

"Piper. You comin'?" Kevin asked. I nodded my head and we passed the territory lines.

Immediately, warriors ran towards us. "What is your purpose here?" one of them growled out. I'm pretty sure that his name is Joey.

Moving out from behind Kevin, Matt, and Phil, I looked at the warriors. "Tell Beta Kingsley that his daughter is back" I demanded.

I heard a few of them gasp. "Piper?" Joey whispered in disbelief. He was looking around, like he was afraid someone would hear him. "You shouldn't be here" he told me quietly.

Frowning, I shook my head. "Just get these people their reward and take me to Alpha Terence" I ordered. Joey slowly nodded his head. He had the group go with a few warriors, and I was alone with him.

I followed him to the familiar pack house. The sight of it made me shudder. I knew what happened in that house. I knew where all the secret rooms were- I was tortured in those rooms. Taking a deep breath, we entered the house. Joey led me to Alpha Terence's office. "It was a bad idea to come back here" Joey whispered before walking away from me.

Hesitantly, I raised my fist and knocked on the door. "Come in!" he powerful voice demanded. I wish I never had to hear that voice ever again. It was one of the voices that haunted my dreams. One of the voices that led to my sleepless nights and caused my gruesome nightmares.

I kept my eyes on the ground as I entered the office. "Alpha" I said respectfully as I closed the door behind me. Before I could even turn around to face him, I was smacked. The force made me fall to the floor. I forgot how strong his backhands were.

"Kingsley!" he shouted. Immediately, the door swung back open. "Look who's home!" Alpha Terence announced with a dark chuckle.

Father's eyes landed on me and they immediately darkened. "You little bitch!" he growled as he sent a hard kick to my stomach. "You thought you could fucking run?!" he shouted.

I grunted with every hit that was sent my way. I know for sure that they had already broken a few bones. And its only been five minutes. "You. Worthless. Piece. Of. Shit" Alpha Terence kicked me with every word that he spat.

Haven't they heard of never 'kicking someone when they're down'? Its not a fair fight. Not that I would fight back. I'm not trying to die so soon. "Terence!" a voice screamed. The kicks stopped, but the pain didn't.

Peeling my eyes open, I saw Luna Thalia standing in the doorway. She had tears in her eyes as she saw me. Behind her, stood Nick. He looked at me before his fists clenched and he glared at his father. "Piper?" Thalia breathed out.

I groaned in response. It was supposed to come out as words, but its practically impossible to say anything when you just got kicked in the stomach a hundred times by two fully grown werewolves- who are an Alpha and a Beta. "Oh, my god!" she quickly ran towards me and helped me off the ground.
