Overthinking

She makes it through each day,
Shaky breaths and teary eyes,
Life just isn't for everyone,
She holds in her muffled cries.

She'd hidden it for long enough,
Until dead of night with no one around,
She always suffered in silence,
Never a single sound.

Everything's shattered around her,
What can she do?
She needs someone to pick up the pieces,
Will it be you?
