"Shhhhhh..."

She gently laid a slender finger on her mouth.

"I'm running away."

Her blonde hair swished quietly behind her as she ran down the road, the lights from the street lamps guiding her way.

Her soft voice repeated in my head.

"Shhhhh.... I'm running away."

"I'm running away."

"..away."

But where to?

"Where?"

My voice was heard by no one. It was like I hadn't even said anything.

I could almost hear her kind laughter as she whispered

"Where ever I'd like."

Almost. I didn't, because she had ran.
