I love Christmas. It's one of my favorite holidays. It's cold and nice out and I get to take out my sweaters and warm blankets. It's really fun for me because where I'm from (Puerto Rico) it doesn't snow and although we wonder what it's like, we still enjoy the holiday. So you're probably wondering how I celebrate Christmas or maybe not really, but I would like to share some cool facts for you to know.
In Puerto Rico we don't sing Christmas Carols, we sing Parrandas. If you want to know what I mean, just click on the video below to have an idea and see how we party in Christmas. We basically do this every year or something very similar.
I usually decorate the Christmas tree in a traditional way, but this year I decided to create my own Christmas Book Tree. It's basically a Christmas tree made with books. I don't know if you can see a Harry Potter book somewhere or the Twilight series, but they're all there.
My all time favorite Christmas Gift was reading this book:
I know it's not a favorite for all writers, but it has value for me because my husband gave to me as a gift, so it's kind of an emotional thing for me because it was a way to show how much he loved me, so that's why I like Twilight so much.
What has been your favorite Christmas present ever? Leave it in the comments section. I hope you have a Merry Christmas and for those who don't celebrate it like me, I wish you a happy holiday. Take care and Wattpad on!
(Sorry for the mess. This was a temporary thing and the Hamster is no longer in the house, so I'm free of Newspaper mess.)
This is my year's office tree where I do most of my writing:
While my Christmas tree is small and modest, my mom went all Macy's this year with a nine foot tree.
The tree is so big that even I had to go and help. That's me laughing and having a great time.
So did you put your Christmas tree already? If you haven't will it be a traditional one or a one you created? Are all the lights placed, the decorations complete? If you like you can comment below. If you want to make your own Christmas Book Tree let me know. It's pretty easy and your books won't suffer damage.
I Hope you liked this article. Take care readers and Wattpad on!
