ellie bounced her thigh back and forth, her fingers pressed against her hammering temple. She had spent the last 25 minutes in a small cab with lauren and the twins.
oh, and the cab driver.
as soon as they pulled into the club, ellie basically tuck and rolled out of the cab. the twins, who were in the middle of a sentence ran after her, leaving lauren to pay the cab driver.
“ellie, wait!”
“yeah, wait ellie!”
“we need to get into the line.”
ellie walked faster, trying to rub her legs together to get warmth in the cold weather. she trained her eyes on her thighs, failing to look up to see where she was headed.
“sorry to bother you babe, but you’re about to walk into a pole.”
ellie’s head snapped up, her mouth gaping as she realized that she’d infact nearly walked into a pole. her cheeks burned as she craned her neck to the guy that saved her from walking into a headache.
“thanks a lot, for that.”
he smiled, his blue eyes glowing as he looked at her.
“no problem love.”
