trevor,
have you ever had every inch of your body scream at you not to do something? every cell in your body is hollering at you, threatening you with everything they've got.
well, that's what's happening right now because your name just popped up on my phone. i don't know what to do. if i pick up, there's a chance you'll want me back and, honestly? i'm not entirely sure i want that anymore.
you've been calling for a good thirty seconds. i'm not sure why your number isn't blocked yet. i keep wondering why you're still lingering in the back of my mind and i haven't destroyed every piece of evidence showing your existence in my life.
but i picked up anyway.
what we just talked about is still a blur. you didn't want me back. you just wanted a friend to talk to. i hope you know that 'friends' isn't a thing we can be labelled as anymore. but i listened. until you tried to apologize to me and bring up the memories i've been trying so hard to burn.
i won't apologize for hanging up on you.
from,
leslie
