repeated in his head.

after a few awkward beeps,
the line finally cracks a
response.

the officer answers calmly,
probably an experienced
member of the team who
has been dealing with many
cases.

"u–uhm... please come down to

"we'll be coming in
approximately half an hour.
please refrain from moving
