Chapter 18

Lora's POV:

I started at her in shock, I couldn't speak. I just looked at her. It's like everything was moving slowly around me.

I felt like I couldn't breath, "You're my what?" I was able to choc out.

By now Karen had a huge frown on her face and her eyes were glowing showing signs of tears.

I got out of my chair and started pacing in front of her, I couldn't keep still. How can this woman say she's my mother? And if so why didn't she tell me this sooner?

I felt a hand on my shoulder, I looked at Karen I wanted to pull away from her, but I couldn't, her eyes were so sad and filled with guilt. Tears were going down her cheek. I couldn't help but start crying, and I did something that surprised me and Karen. I hugged her, at first Karen stiffen but then in a few seconds she hugged be back tightly, like didn't want to let go of me.

"I am so sorry Lora.... so sorry." I herd her whisper in my hair. I sniffed and so did she. We broke from the hug but Karen took my hand in a motherly gesture. She gave me a Kleenex tissue and I blew my nose.

"I don't expect you to call me mom or mother, nor do I expect you to ever forgive me for ever giving you up... I just hope in time you do." Karen said softly next to me, I really wanted to know why she gave me but, I wanted to know about my father and about everything.

But I was super happy at the same time! I found my biological mother. So I walked up to her and hugged her.

"Mommy I've missed you so much." I murmured against her shoulder, I herd her give out a sad chuckle.

"I've missed you to" she said.

"Please tell me everything, no matter how much you think it will hurt me." I said hiccupping at the last part.

And with that my biological mother, a.k.a Karen told me everything...

Suanna's POV:

Drake and I walked, hand in hand, for a few minutes in silence; it wasn't an awkward silence, but a very peaceful silence.

We walked until we reach and old thick tree, and then Drake stopped. I looked at him confused and he just smiled.

"How about we sit here and watch the sun set and talk." he said his face glowing with happiness, I couldn't help but smile.

I was about to sit down when Drake stopped me. He sat down first opening his legs and telling me to sit between them; I couldn't help but laugh, and sat down between his legs. I took advantage and lay my back against his chest and his arms around my waist; I felt a warmth and tingly sensation go throw my body.

I was busy making circles around his hand when I herd him sigh, "So this means that we're going out?" he asked, like he couldn't believe it. I giggled a little.

"Yes" I whispered turning my head up to look at him. He smiled.

"So now you're my girlfriend right? My girl?" he asked again, this time I just laughed.

I got up and stood on my knees; both our faces were at the same level and were inches away. I couldn't stop looking at his beautiful green eyes.

After a few seconds of silence, "Yes" I barley whispered. I felt my cheeks heat up... why was I blushing? I mentally sighed, well because this is the first time I've ever been this close to a guy...

He saw me blush and smiled a little; slowly stroking my cheek with his finger, he then cupped his hand on the side of my face and I couldn't help but close my eyes and move my head to the side his hand was.

I opened my eyes, we were a little closer; I could feel his breath warm mingling with mine, his eyes boring into mine and his face getting closer and closer to mine, till there was no more space between us.

I felt his soft lips touch mine, our lips moved together like they were meant for each other; it was so sweet and so gentle and full of love that I wanted more.

I brought my hands around his neck and grabbed hold of his hair bringing him even closer to me; I felt his on hand on the small of my back and the other one on my hair.

He licked my lower lip, asking for entrance and gasped a little and kind of took that as an advantage.

I could feel his tongue brushing mine and mine brushing his. At first the kiss was sweet and loving till it became more passionate.

We both stopped kissing because we both needed air. I was gasping for air and so was he; he put his forehead to mine and kissed me littlie on my lips... His lips were so soft.

"Hope I'm not interrupting..." I herd a familiar voice say from behind me...
