Scars can be tricky because they come in different colors: some are red, some purple, and some brown, says Denno. "The majority of the time I'll use a heavy concealer that's the same color as the skin tone.
However, if the scars are so dark, I have to use a color opposite the color wheel to neutralize them, and then cover with the corresponding skin tone concealer shade."
