Ashley's POV
The sun was shining through the large windows as it made me wake up. I opened my eyes, yawning. When I looked at the other side of the bed, Blaze wasn't on the bed. I stretched out and got up, wrapping the cover around me.
I wrapped a towel around me as I walked out of the bathroom. I dried my hair and body. Then, I put on a navy blue dress and called Patricia. She told me Aspen was calm; he didn't cry so much, and he was sleeping now. I missed my little boy.
After I had hung up, I went downstairs. Blaze wasn't here either. I walked towards the garden.
I smiled as I saw him in the garden, holding a bouquet in his hand. He gave me his signature, heart warming smile.
He made breakfast for us. There were flowers on the table too.
I approached him as I placed a soft kiss on his lips.
"Morning." I greeted him happily.
"Morning." He greeted me back as he handed me the bouquet.
I took it, giving him a broad smile. I smelled them, closing my eyes. It smelled wonderful.
"Thank you." I said as I opened my eyes.
He smiled at me as he cupped my cheeks and kissed my lips.
"Let's have breakfast." He suggested. I nodded.
I placed my knife and fork down on the plate as I sighed. "I don't want to go back. I wish I could stay here with you for more days. But we need to go back to reality." I admitted sadly.
He placed his hand on top of my hand on the table and held it as he gave me a warm smile.
"Ashley, we need to tell them the truth." He confessed.
I sighed as I admitted. "I am afraid of my father's reaction. But you are right; we should tell them." I gave him a slight smile. "And it will not get worse than it is now." I sighed, depressed.
He gave me a slight smile as he brought my hand to his lips and kissed it.
"We will tell them after the anniversary ceremony of our company." He said. I nodded in agreement.
I was watching the changing scenery through the window as we were going back.
Blaze parked his car in front of the mansion. He held my hand, interrupting my thoughts. I turned my head towards him as I gave him a slight smile.
He cupped my cheek as he said. "Don't worry. Everything will be fine." He gave me a reassuring smile.
"I hope." I sighed.
"Let's go. I missed my son." He gave me a wide smile.
I smiled happily. "I missed him too."
