Okay I don't care if you listen to 5SOS or PTV but you have to check out this band ONE OK ROCK. They sound amazing!
Quick Bio:
Lead vocalist TAKA is a former member of the Johnny's Jimusho idol group NEWS. Members Toru and Ryota are former members of the rapping break dancing group HEADS.
The band started when Toru, Alex and Ryota started it in high school. Shortly after the creation of the band Taka joined the group as the main vocals.
The band's name, One Ok Rock, comes from "one o'clock", the time that the band used to practice on weekends. However, noticing that the Japanese language made no distinction between r's and l's, they changed "o'clock" to "o'crock" (or "o'krock"), which was then separated to become "ok rock".
This band has become increasingly popular. Topping international charts and even playing this year's warped tour. (Although they didn't play the date I went too sadly.)
