Arnav was watching every movements of his son who was sleeping peacefully in Khushis arms

"We made him Khush Our Arush" said Arnav kissing her forehead

"See I won I got my prince my Chotte... my Ladoo... He is so cute...ditto you" chided Khushi happily

"As if you saw me in this age...let me remind you it was me who saw you first...even before Maa" teased Arnav

"I know what to do if my husband is an oldie " said Khushi pouting

"Oldie....me? I think I have to show you by creating my princess within next year" saying Arnav tried to catch her lips

"Dhat... shameless" giggled Khushi

Suddenly their happy moment was broken by the nurse...she took their" precious" for some tests...Arnav held Khushi in his arms when suddenly the room door burst open and a furious Payal entered the room followed by the family

"You can leave now I didnt say anything till now due to her condition but now you are not needed here...I dont want your filthy hands on Arush or on my sister...I will not let you snatch Arush...I will take my sister and her son far away from you...I will protect them said Payal determined....Arnav felt bad....Khushi was calm all the while but her last words broke the dam

"Enough... the sister you are talking about is his wife and Arush is his son...I didnt said anything till now considering you are caring for me....you are having some misunderstandings...but not anymore....what you said you will protect us? You? Payal Gupta? How? What you know?

Where were you when I was verbally abused by your parents and Maasi? Where were you when I had to work day and night even during my exams? He was the one giving his arms his warmth when I cried at nights in extreme body pain

You were busy with your studies jiji he was the one fighting with your parents for me....not only that he stood against his father for me..

Suddenly the nurse came back handling Arush to Khushi

"Leave us alone" came Khushi's cold voice .Arnav took her in his arms silently promising her that he will never let her down....his heart filled with love for the angel

Payal came out of the hospital tears rolling continuously from her eyes...it was a reality check for her....she was so wrong
