HER SELFLESS LOVE

part 42

All left for the farmhouse except manan. Nandini went to kitchen to prepare something light for manik
As she was done with cooking she came back to their room. She kept the tray on the bed n asked " how r u feeling now ....kahi pain ho raha hai?

Manik smile at his concern though he was having a very bad bodyache but don't want to give her stress so he lied" no I'm fine..aur agar na bhi hua toh tumhare saath rehkar ho jaunga" he said in flirty tone

Nandini nodded her head in disbelief after listening his chessy lines" pehla thik ho jaaeya phir flirting karna..tabiyat thik nahi hai phir bhi aap apni harkato se baaz nahi aaoege" she scolded her but not harshly

" Arey kaisi biwi ho tum tumhara bichara pati bimar hai uska khayal rakhne ki bajay usse daat( scold) rahi ho ( arey what type of wife u r..your husband is not well ..instead of taking care of him u r scolding him ) " he said dramatically

Nandu - ho gaya " she asked n manik immediately bobbed his head " manik aap " she was about to say further when suddenly he started coughing badly .Nandini quickly got up from her place n started rubbing his back
She made him drink water

Nan - chaliye ab aap jaldi se soup finish ki jiya" saying this she forwarded the soup bowl in frontof him

But manik simply folded his hands n nodded in no n said " yaar nandu mein bimar hoo..toh uska kuch toh advantage hona chaiye na" nandini look at him in confusion " arey i mean mein weak hoo don't u think u should feed me"

Nandini took a spoonful of soup n bought near his lips" itma tantrums bache tak nahi karte jitna aap karte ho " manik gulp the soup n said " ha toh woh kyu karenge tum already unhe itna attention deti hoo..ek mein hi bichara tumhara pati ji se itna kuch karna padta hai for your attention " he said in complaining tone n nandini chuckle

As manik completed his meal Nandini
gave him his medicine n ask him to sleep. After a while because of the effect of medicine manik slept n Nandini moved downstairs . She first called Neonika to know about their whereabouts.

Then she moved towards the kitchen to prepare their lunch. Between her work she used to n check on manik.After completing her work she went back to their room

Aa she entered she found manik was moving in sleep. Nandini went beside him n ask " manik kya hua" .manik opened his eyes n look at her ,she found his eyes are teary " Nandini I'm having a very bad bodyache aur itching bhi feel ho rahi hai "

Nandini ask him to remove his t-shirt but he was not able to do it ..so she help him to remove his t-shirt .As she remove his t-shirt she was shocked as there were many rashes on his upper body. Nandini first bought a bucket of luke warm water to give him sponge bath. She first clean his upper body then she pull his track pant uptohis knees n wipe his legs with warm water. Then she applied ointment on the body n applied Vicks on his chest neck n back N made him wear a fresh t-shirt. She bought ice-cold water n soft cloth n started keeping cold straps on his forehead.

After almost two hours manik's body temperature was normal. She feed him lunch n gave him medicine.
Nandini ask him to sleep for a while but manik was not ready to leave her he asked her to sit n kept his head on her lap n snuggle more into her tummy ..nandini hand moved towards his hair n started carsing it.
Manik slept for a while but nandini didn't.... sometime she used to press his head or sometimes used to carse his hair

By evening manik woke up nandini made him first wash his face n first gave him kadha .but how can our manik malhotra can do something so easily " nandu forget it I'm not gonna drink it..just look at it , it look horrible n its smell yuck n i know its taste would be more worse so i won't drink it "

Nandini - manik plzz pelijiye " she requested him calmly

Manik - no forget it " saying this she turned his face on other direction

Nandini requested him so many times but stubborn malhotra didn't paid ant heed ....finally an idea trick on her head n she spoke seriously " fine mat pijiye kada (manik smile widely ) phir  aap late thik honge aur jab tak aap thik nahi honge ...aap mere karib bhi nahi aa sakte ( hearing this manik smile vanished n he shouted ) whattt

Nandu- ha agar aap ko isse koi problem nahi hai toh its ok" saying this she picked up the glass n stood up but before she could took a step manik made her sit n took no actually snatch the glass n gulp it in a go.

After drinking it manik made a very bad face n nandini was finding difficult to supress his laughter as he was looking very cute while making those faces

Looking her laughing manik said" dekh loonga tumhe to mein bahut hasi aa rahi hai na tumhe "Nandini immediately kept quiet n nodded in no" tum tum sari wifes ek jaisi hi hoti ho dramebaaz matlab apni baat manvane (agree) ke liye tum kuch bhi kar sakti hoo ...huh i hate u" saying this he folded his arms n turned his face .

Nandini cupped his cheeks with her one hand bought her a bit closer n whisper in  his ears" but i love u"
Manik smile hearing this n kept forehead against hers
