inklings of who I had been have reemerged, traces of who I wanted to be for you have remerged
/ have I dreamt of you in a finer light? have you dreamt of me in the slightest?
there is a divide /
yet we are merged however much the souls yearn to be free / they snap back into place / they stay they stay they stay / where it feels like home /
a twisted home where the soul / only revisits to burn
/ to set itself aflame / we ignite! we ignite what we want only to dim!
or have I imagined that / have I gone entirely mad? (o, the thought so romantic to me in private is just a fools hope for excitement!)
